His entire team is extremely helpful and they will part the ocean to get the job done for you. Tom helped us look at and buy a home from across the country. He made moving to the East Coast a breeze, because we didn't have to worry about where we were going to live. We were able to beat out all other offers thanks to his wit, charm, and industry expertise! He not only got us the house we wanted, but took the extra time to walk us through it in detail + send videos since we could not view the home in person. Fast forward to closing...he was proactive in protecting our family, which allowed us to resolve some minor issues we faced with the Seller after inspection. My husband and I have been through a few realtors and, luckily for us, we found Tom Milan. Tom was knowledgeable, caring, efficient and timely - these are traits that are so important and he had it all ! We were looking for a home and the pandemic hit, we were overwhelmed and almost gave up, thankfully Tom had helped us through the ups and downs of purchasing a home, he was always just a phone call away, he made sure to meet us promptly whenever and wherever we were interested in a showing, we were not easy clients !! ZillowVERIFIED Tom was literally the man! This was our first time purchasing a home, and I knew very little on how the process worked. Thanks to him, the process was painless. On top of that, he has a lot of experience with general contracting, so he can actually provide intelligent advice and comments on the quality of a home. He would meet us at anytime, day or night to check out a house. We dragged him to a lot of houses and he never once acted frustrated. He wasnt pushy and only cared about us buying a house that we would be truly happy with. We did find a great house and couldnt be happier. Just recently, we realized that some contractual work that was done on the house prior to purchase was done incorrectly by a company that he contracted. He immediately acknowledged the mistake and paid out of pocket to correct the problem. Tom is a truly stand up guy. If I could give him 100/100 stars I would.

ZillowVERIFIED To put this in perspective I was not in a hurry to sell my home of the last twenty plus years. I did know I wanted to upgrade at some point but had neighbors that were great friends and financial stability in my monthly bills. To say the least I was comfortable, maybe to much so. My wife and I had put our home on the market a few years ago and really had no activity. I was ok with that deep down because in my mind the status quo was fine. Then somehow my wife and I meet Val Milan. She offers to help us look at a few homes, no pressure and to advise us on what our home needed to appeal to buyers. (Val is the hardest working person I have met in any field in many years. Just had to throw that in at the moment.) After looking at several homes in our price range I was beginning to appreciate my existing home more and more....until that fateful day. I fell in love with a back yard. No kidding, I didn't even notice the house that much, but the yard.. That glorious wild bird filled, no back yard neighbor woods. I remember going home and thinking, no, planning what I could do with that wildlife haven / sea of tranquility. The wheels were spinning but then the fear hit. What about the house, what about money, that back yard wasn't attached to my current home....I would have to move and we would have to sell our house. We tried to sell our house a few years ago and we all know how that ended. This is where Val really comes into the picture. She was open and understanding to questions at almost all hours. She guided us to a lender that met all our needs at a reasonable rate and she helped us secure the house we were interested in not just once but twice as we were contingent on selling our home. Now the fun starts, beginning to stage a house for sale that has been home for over twenty years and full of everything. Val helped us declutter, repair, freshen up and make the home shine. Those words do no justice to really explain how much she did for us and how much help she provided. Our family home sold and the contract on the new house went through to closing. I tried to do the closing cost math about a hundred times but eventually left it to the mortgage Gods. Everything worked out as it should, we sold a home and brought a house. LOL Now the hard part.... THE MOVE. Ok, it wasn't that bad. Matter of fact in hindsight it went pretty smooth. After working hours, packing and moving furniture in the evening we got everything moved out on time and in one piece thanks to good friends and Val. Thats right Val did not disappear after closing, between her other listings, her showings, her family she helped my wife and I make the move. So here I am, six months after I was given this link to write a review, writing it because when I first moved I was to busy to understand what a true helpful professional Val was in our time of need. I really don't think we would be here if it wasn't for her and after six months I can say a few things that may help you in choosing an agent. The house is beautiful, it took months for me to realize it was our new home. Its over twice the size of the old house and all my sons legos are contained to one room. If you didn't know thats why frogs were made and we can now safely walk barefoot again. The back yard will be my canvas for years. The back deck has become a favorite spot for my wife and I to bird watch, talk and enjoy a few cold beverages. Lastly and most importantly the financial situation changed very little, my fears were unfounded. We changed a few habits and six months into the new mortgage everything is good. This house has become our new home and we couldn't be happier. Everyday it is like "wow, we live here". And none of it would have been possible without Val Milan. Thank you Val.
