He really took the time to figure out what we were looking for then used his extensive knowledge of homes and neighborhoods to guide us in the right direction. Tom was suggested by a family member. At that time, the house wasnt ready to be sold since I was downsizing the items inside the house. I requested through the family member that when the house was ready to be sold, I would contact Tom. When the house was ready to be sold, I contacted Tom, and we met for me to see if I was going to hire him as the Realtor. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I had many questions about the process, since this was the first property I have ever sold. He answered the many questions I had without hesitation. He came prepared with a calming and professional demeanor and came across like your long-time neighbor and friend. From there on out, he was always available to provide me with the information that I needed. We had weekly updates on Fridays, but also during the week as needed. He was very knowlegable about the area and prices of homes for sale in the surrounding areas. Every decision that was made or concerns I had, big or small, mattered to Tom. He had given me all the information I needed to make decisions, I always felt like I was in good hands with Tom. Whenever I had a question, I would call Tom, he would answer immediately on the first ring. If he wasnt available at that moment, he would text me back with the reason, and within minutes he would call me back. We had received a flyer from Tom showcasing the sale of a property in the area and reached out to him to discuss representing our property. After meeting with him on the phone and answering our questions about how he would prepare and market the property we decided to move forward. From day one he was great to work with, outlining all of the steps, keeping us informed about timing for each step to get listed on MLS, showing us the photos, videos, and flyer for our input and approval. He did one open house with good attendance and we were able to close escrow quickly with an above asking price offer. Tom, and his team, took care of everything with paperwork, escrow, signings and other items, keeping us informed on a regular basis as each step was completed or what we needed to do next. One of the offers turned out to be from a relative of Tom's, which he immediately informed us of, and we discussed it in detail as we had some concerns that it might be a conflict of interest and we wanted to make sure that our interests were looked out for. Following this discussion, we decided that it would not be a conflict of interest and he ended up representing both the buyer and seller. This was a very professional, detailed, quick, positive, process from start to finish and I would highly recommend Tom and his team from the experience we had.
