Toby is amazing! We worked with Toby for over a year looking for just the right house. We had very specific location (the Tulalip Reservation as my husband and daughter are enrolled tribal members), fixed price and specific needs to match our family. We are first time homebuyers so we had a lot of questions and uncertainties. Toby sat down with us, explained the entire process, all we would need to sign, set up a specialized account for us that searched for what we were looking for and then was actively looking for us as well. He had the best communication, he was always there to answer our questions (and we really had a lot of them), he got back to us usually right away but always within the day. Anytime we wanted to look at house, he made it happen very quickly, without judgement or annoyance. He was always prompt and on time when we went to look at houses. Toby helped us look for flaws that we might not have seen as new homebuyers lost in the excitement; he was able to remind me that walls ?can be painted? and countertops replaced, he was honest and extremely patient! When we lost the first house, he was there to sympathize with us. When we were defeated and thinking that a house would never come available, he helped talk us through some other options and helped us expand our search. When we missed the deadline to sign paperwork on the second house we put an offer in on, he did not get angry or stop working with us; he reached out on our behalf to the seller?s agent and explained that it was a misunderstanding, we did not get paperwork signed on time. Then he re-explained that certain signings had a timeframe, where to locate the due date on the paperwork and then whenever we needed to sign, he included a deadline in the messages so that we could be prompt. However, the best thing about working with Toby is how encouraging he is. He never let us give up hope, but he also was not a pushy sales man either trying to get us into a place that would not make sense. Toby is kind, and caring and supportive. He always has a smile and his professionalism is top notch. For our second offer, he showed up for everything we needed him to, inspections and all that. When he went out of town for work near our closing date, he let us know that he might not be as readily available. Now that we have closed and are new homeowners; he is still available for us, and we are still asking him questions and he is just as kind and available as he was when we were looking and he has a ton of local contacts for services/repairs. We have so much appreciation for Toby and everything that he has done for us. He is great man and great helper personality with a true passion for what he doing. He loves his job, respects his clients and knows the business.
