ReviewIve worked with Tara McGuire twice now, first when she helped me buy my home in Georgetown back in 2016, and again when it was time to sell. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home in the Georgetown area. We actually started talking about selling in the fall of 2025, thinking we'd put the house on the market in spring 2027. But life changed, and suddenly I needed to sell much sooner. Tara didn't miss a beat. She and her team jumped right in and helped me get everything ready to list by late summer 2026. They helped me pick out fixtures, arranged a home inspection, got bids from contractors, and coordinated all the work that needed to be done. I really appreciated how organized they were because there were a lot of moving parts. One thing I'm especially thankful for is Tara's advice on pricing and negotiating. She showed me that homes in the area were taking an average of 78 days to sell and were selling for around 95% of their asking price. She explained why getting the price right from the beginning was so important, and I'm glad I listened. We got an offer in less than a week, which was exciting! It wasn't a great offer, but I was tempted to take it because I was ready to move on to my next home. Tara helped me think it through instead of just pushing me to accept it. She felt we could do better, and she was right! We ended up going under contract in just 24 days and sold for 99.5% of our asking price! Even better, everything went smoothly all the way through closing. No last-minute surprises or headaches. What I appreciate most about Tara is that I completely trust her. She knows the Georgetown real estate market, gives great advice, and is probably one of the most organized people I've ever met. She really looks out for her clients, and that means a lot. The two of them together are exceptional. Taras knowledge of the Circle C Ranch real estate market and her strategy made a significant difference in our results. We originally planned to list our home several months later, but Tara recognized an opportunity to take advantage of the stronger spring market and developed a pre-market strategy that ultimately resulted in us selling for 5% more than the price we had planned to enter the MLS at. She also negotiated a favorable leaseback that gave us the flexibility we needed after closing. We were a little worried that the home may not appraise for the sales price, but Tara proactively provided favorable sale comps to the appraiser and everything went off without a hitch! Review We had a rental house that we decided to sell and we needed help making the smartest updates we could that would get a return. Tara has great ideas and also closely collaborates with a stager (which she included). Thanks to Tara we made wise choices like updating the light fixtures without wasting money on something like a whole new floor (not needed in our case). Furthermore, Tara is very transparent. We got an inspection report ourselves first so that we would know the condition of the house, could share it with potential buyers, and take care of what needed to be taken care of. She also asked us to list improvements we had made and the cost. I thought that was very fair and helped people to understand our price point. She also did a thorough job of researching the comps ahead of time explaining both why our house might be more valuable than the comp (greenbelt) or less valuable (one less bathroom), etc. Our house sold before we even put it on the MLS (people saw the sign), and over asking. It was about as low stress as you can get and again I really appreciated the transparency. Highly recommend.

Review I researched the Texas Association of Realtors website looking for a realtor to handle an estate sale. After reading reviews of Tara McGuire, I was very impressed. I contacted her and learned her first house sale was in the neighborhood where my parent's home was located. Tara has a fantastic team in place to assist her with the listings. She met with me at the house and waited patiently until I was provided the necessary paperwork to list the house. During this whole time, she kept in touch, kept me updated on the housing market, and was very supportive. It was a complicated one of a kind property, that required more atttention then other sales. Tara did a great job. She secured banks that were able to finance our one of a kind multi-family sale if neccessary. Tara stuck by me after three contracts fell through. We ended up securing an all cash contract and closed in ten days. I was very lucky to find Tara. She did a great job representing me, and I felt like she had my back during entire time of representation. Review Tara is a wonderful realtor. I had a historic multi-family Clarksville home in downtown Austin. I had a bad first experiance with another realtor and agency. I contacted Bramlett Realtors after terminating that contract and reached Tara.I explained to her that the property I was wanting to sell was a historic one of a kind downtown property. Although the property had an amazing location and alot of historic charm and some beautiful artistc upgrades, it was going to be hard to sell. She has a team of people working for her so every step was well organized and communicated to us. She set up a home stager, handy man, window washer, and cleaner for us.
