ZillowVERIFIEDMs. Woods is the go-getter that you want your real estate agent to be! Her expertise is vast and her years of experience helped facilitate a wonderful experience for my situation. I am grateful for my friend recommending her to me. I am sure it made a huge difference between being able to get my house sold and having to go back to being a landlord again since the market peaked and mortgage rates were raised the same week I decided to sell my house. Thank you so much Ms. Woods!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was very knowledgeable about the different areas that I was interested in purchasing a home in. Response time to questions was always in a timely fashion, and always worked around my schedule. I would definitely recommend her as your next realtor!
ZillowVERIFIEDI can not overstate how wonderful it is to work with Sylvia and her team. She helped us sell a home while we were out of state and helped us purchase one as well. Sylvia lined everything up for us and made sure things were done properly and well ahead of schedule. If any issues came up, Sylvia and her team took care of it and made sure the stress was off our shoulders. Sylvia had our best interest every step of the way and ensured we knows it with her honesty, diligence, and hard work.
ZillowVERIFIEDThis is the second house that Sylvia has listed and sold for me. She is top notch, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I recommend her without reservation!
ZillowVERIFIEDFrom day one from searching , home inspection to closing Sylvia was so nice, kind and knowledgeable. She worked on Sundays and non business hours to help me find a home. She showed and taught me things about my home that she didnt have to. That showed me that she actually cared and it wasnt just a job to her. This was the most stressful time in my life , but Sylvia helped me to be at ease. I want to thank her for helping me and my daughter purchase our first home.

ZillowVERIFIEDHighly recommend Sylvia! A friend of ours referred us to her and we couldn't be happier. She was always available and gave us constant updates. We got everything we asked for during negotiations as well!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was very knowledgable about what houses were going for in the area. The townhouse sold quickly. Sylvia kept me informed throughout the process. I am very pleased with the service she provided.
ZillowVERIFIEDNot only did they help me sell ..... it was the same group that helped me find and buy 7 years ago. Very high speed group. Willing to do what needs to be done to reach the finish line. This team completely went above and beyond!!!!Thanks
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was very helpful and attentive to our needs and emotions during the sale of our home. She began and remained motivated to sell our home and get us the best deal possible.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me during my home search. Great at her profession and a great person! She was always available when I needed her and never hesitated to help. She made my experience as pleasant as possible. Definitely recommend her to assist you in your home search!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia and the Townpoint team will work with you to get you exactly what you want even if you are not quite sure what that is yet. She treats you like family. She makes sure you are completely satisfied even after closing.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia is amazing! As a first time home buyer, there were a lot of questions. Sylvia thoroughly walked us through the entire process. She was in constant communication and handled anything that arose. Sylvia is amazing!
ZillowVERIFIEDDuring the year it took to find a new home, Sylvia is the most professional, hard working agent I could have ever ask to represent me during this home search.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was professional and readily available when we drove to the area to look at homes! She made the buying process smooth and was always immediately responsive whenever we had questions. Transitioning our family to a new state and buying a home could not have been a smoother process!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia is wonderful! She helped us find a house in 2008 and helped us sell it in 2018. She was referred to us by a friend and we have recommended her to friends.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia is awesome. She helped me buy my first house in 2005. She listed 2 houses for us in the last year and helped us find a house in Yorktown that was in our price range. My husbands house sold in less than a week last summer, and my house sold this year in a week and a half. We were happy with the offers we received. She was very responsive, supportive, helpful and knowledgeable in what is a very stressful process. I highly recommend her!
ZillowVERIFIEDMy previous realtor had moved out of state so when we talked he suggested Sylvia or a soft spoken person. I chose Sylvia because she was honest and straight forward and pulled no surprises. She gave me a honey do list and was very responsive when I completed a task. She helped me stay focused which is a major accomplishment considering I am ADD. By the second week, I had full trust in her. When I suddenly got sick and was hospitalized, she was so compassionate and caring; all of this was before my condo even went on the market. When my condo sold in 4 days, I knew it was because of Sylvia's efforts. She was proactive, positive, and determined to help me get to Ohio. I would recommend her to my best friend and anyone in between! She is the best in the Hampton Roads area.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia is a dynamo! She's responsive, knowledgeable, and straight forward. We have no hesitation in recommending her and would absolutely use her again if the need arises.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia Woods did an awesome job of helping me sell my home at a fair market price. I live out of state from where my property was located and Sylvia could not have done a more professional job at making sure everything was accomplished to facilitate the sell. She listed my home for sale and less than 24 hours later I had a signed contract with the buyer. We closed a little over a month later. I could not be happier! I highly recommend Sylvia if you are in the market to sell (or buy) your home in the Tidewater area.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia has been our realtor through the buying and selling of our houses. She found us a lot of really great options even though we had very specific parameters both times we bought. She is so easy going and flexible but will get you where you need to be during process with a gentle push if necessary. She made our entire experience less stressful and every time I spoke with her I knew I was in good hands. She has good relationships within the business community and so was able to help us through any steps of buy/selling that we were unsure of. In summary Sylvia is an incredible realtor with heart for her clients and a head for her business.
ZillowVERIFIEDIt took longer for me to find a home than I thought, but Sylvia never never gave up on me! Honestly, we printed, drove by or stopped at over 100 properties! Not once did she push me or make me feel like I wasting her time. She is extremely professional, timely, does all needed follow up or follow through. She is not only an amazing realtor, she has become a true friend!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was a phenomenal real estate agent. She was well rounded, attentive, and very respectful. All of our requests were fulfilled beyond personal expectations. Thank you again Sylvia for finding our dream home!
ZillowVERIFIEDWe bought our house through Sylvia about a year and a half ago. As first-time homebuyers, we didn't have a good grip on what the process was. Sylvia made it painless and was able to negotiate a deal i would have never thought possible otherwise.
ZillowVERIFIEDThanks, Sylvia, for all your help in purchasing my condo! I love it more today than when I first saw it!! Actually got it for less than I bid!!Now I'm utilizing it as a rental property, but I mean to retire to it when I'm older.
ZillowVERIFIEDMy husband and I decided to sell our house last spring. Prior to interviewing Sylvia Woods we interviewed several other realtors. Our little dog, Harley, also "interviewed" the other realtors. He growled at each and every one of them. The minute that we met Sylvia, we knew that we had found our realtor. Our dog fell in love with her and within five minutes was in her lap, totally in love with her. Sylvia met us at our front door with a folder that explained everything about her and the company that she worked for. This was the first time that we had sold a house so she walked us step by step through the process. We were given a list of things to do to help the house sell, and we did everything. Sylvia utilized a professional photographer to snap pics of our house...wow. Out of all of the houses listed, the pics that Sylvia had taken from our house were far better than anything else listed anywhere. Sylvia took us to many properties to look for our new home to be, she seemed to know exactly what we were looking for. Because of Sylvia guiding us through the selling process and suggesting ways to show our house and her hiring the best photographer ever, our house sold in a record thirteen days time. Sylvia is a true professional, a super nice person, the best realtor ever. You can't go wrong using Sylvia Woods to sell your home and assist in your buying your next home. By the way, she is so thoughtful...she brought doggie treats for our little dog. He is totally in love with Sylvia. They say that dogs are a good judge of character, and I agree. Harley, the Pomeranian, loved Sylvia, felt comfortable with her, and so do we. Sylvia Woods, you are the best realtor ever and a super, nice lady.
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia is amazing!! She has walked me through buying and selling three homes. There hasnt been one question Ive had that she couldnt answer or quickly find the answer for me. Sylvia has always been flexible to work around schedules to make things easier on my family. I love how she made me really understand the buying selling process. Shes the most warm and friendly person to do business with! Would recommend her 100% of the time
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia helped my husband and I with the purchase of our very first home. We had talked to a couple of other realtors before we met her and we couldnt be happier that we didnt go with the others before her.
ZillowVERIFIEDWe have used Sylvia for 2 home purchases and 1 home sale including our first home buying experience. Sylvia is always available for her clients and will work tirelessly to get you what you want. Our house sold in less than 2 weeks after listing for full price. Buying our most recent home we were in an extremely competitive market and we put offers on 5 homes before one was finally accepted. As you can imagine this was a very frustrating experience but Sylvia worked with us day and night to find us the best house for us. I would gladly recommend Sylvia to anyone looking for a partner on the home buying or selling journey. She has a great outgoing personality and loves what she does. Her extensive knowledge of the market and buying process was greatly helpful when we had hard decisions to make.

Her knowledge of the local area is very impressive which helped quite a bit as we were relocating from the DC area. She is such a positive and upbeat person that makes the house hunting experience so much fun!
ZillowVERIFIEDSylvia was so great to work with. She was very patient, attentive, and honest while allowing us to form our own opinions about properties. She was very helpful in answering our many questions along the way even when they didnt directly pertain to the buying process. Our situation did not give me the opportunity to really assess negotiation skills. If circumstances present we will absolutely contact her in the future.
