Serene Powers and her team did an absolutely phenomenal job selling our home in Rego Park. From day one, their dedication was unmatched--they hosted open houses every single weekend for an entire month to ensure our property got maximum exposure. ZillowVERIFIED Jing Lin, with Serene Powers Real Estate (NY, NY) - A TRUE PROFESSIONAL: She truly knows her stuff (!), easy to work with, great follow-up, compassionate - really listens. Shes great for cutting to the chase - you tell her what you might be looking for, and she leads you toward the right direction, which certainly made my search for the perfect apartment, in the perfect neighborhood very easy!!! And then she is there to hold your hand throughout what could be a very scary, cumbersome process!!! Couldnt have done it without her. Serene Powers is also magnificent. Helps to step in if needed. A great TEAM!!! They would certainly be my go-to realtors if ever I need to do another move!!!

ZillowVERIFIED I worked with Serene and Hiroko Soejima, an agent on Serenes team, over a five month period and Ive never worked with a better team. Their communication was proactive and direct (they quickly put together a group text chat, renamed the chat to Seans Home Search) and were quickly responsive 24/7. Hiroko and Serene quickly became trusted and valued team members in our search and throughout the closing process. I would seek this team out again in the future if Im back on the market!

ZillowVERIFIED Serene is very kind and dedicated. She went above and beyond to help me get the placed I liked. She participated in things that she didnt need to professionally but did it anyway to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. On top of that I always felt a personal touch in everything that we were working on together. Last but not least her knowledge of the area and relationships that she has with people living there were irreplaceable.

ZillowVERIFIED Serene and her associates have been a pleasure to work with and Ive had a very positive experience during a preliminary search. Serene is particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the market, she understands the right questions to ask when seeking leverage for negotiations on behalf of the buyer. Shes fair and transparent, and exudes a sense of honesty/trust because her actions were not ever to push for a sale as fast as possible. I value her opinion because she seems aligned that the goal is in reaching the right mutual fit for a major life decision. Her services would be excellent for someone who is new in the housing market as shes quite willing to teach and informaEUR"this makes for a relationship-based transaction rather than pure expediency. I would continue to use her services in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Rachel and her team at Serene Powers were instrumental in helping us find our dream apartment in Long Island City. Our home search process was a lengthy one due to the lack of availability in our desired area but Rachel was with us at every step along the way. She was extremely plugged into the market and always sent us new listings the moment they were made publicly available on listing websites. Often times she also let us in on opportunities before they even hit the market. When we finally set our sight on our apartment of choice, Rachel really hustled for us to get the deal across the line and was heavily involved in all of the deal negotiations. She did a fantastic job coordinating among different parties to help us secure the best final outcome. Not only did Rachel help us close on our new home, she also help us find new tenants for our existing place seamlessly. It only took one weekend showing for Rachel to find us our tenants. From then she took care of all the administrative aspects of the process from preparing board applications to securing certified checks for us. One example where she went out of her way to be helpful was when she made the weekend trip from New Jersey to Brooklyn to collect the checks from the tenants and passed it to us so we had them in timely manner for our mortgage application. I could not be more satisfied with the services rendered by Rachel and her team and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to start their apartment search. Thank you Rachel!

ZillowVERIFIED Josh (and Serene) helped me to sell my apartment in LIC in 2023. It was a very difficult market environment and the board approval process cumbersome and just many delays upon other delays that is just random and unexpected. However, Josh and the team were there to do plenty of handholdings and advising on how to resolve the unexpected delays with regularly updates and follow-up. Even if those updates were no new developments. So you know they are on top of it. And despite the difficult market, they are able to get many showings and traffics to the apartment and ultimately resulting in a sales. I would recommend Josh and the Powers team wholeheartedly.
