Community Involvement
Founder, Fluvanna Farmers Market (2021-Present): Founded the Fluvanna Farmers Market in 2021, which now supports more than 35 local vendors and food trucks. The market operates weekly from April through September and features community events and live music every Sunday. In addition, established and manages an annual Holiday Market each December. Both markets consistently draw hundreds of community members and visitors. Founder, Fluvanna Silver and Gold (2022-Present): Launched Fluvanna Silver and Gold in 2022 to serve residents age 55 and older in Fluvanna, Louisa, and Albemarle Counties. Originally created to ensure no one spent Thanksgiving alone, the group has grown into a vibrant community of more than 350 members. The organization hosts monthly meetings as well as a wide range of activity-based subgroups, including wine appreciation, book clubs, hiking, kayaking, arts, museum outings, and more. Board and Volunteer Service: Currently serves on the Board of Directors for Fluvanna Meals on Wheels and the Lake Monticello Racquet Committee for Pickleball and Tennis. Actively volunteers with Holistic Outreach for Veterans and is a dedicated supporter of Green Dogs Unleashed, along with additional community-focused initiatives.
