    About Michelle Talley

    Buying a home is the American Dream. I still remember buying my first home. Tingles, jitters, happiness and fear are only some of the emotions I felt when attempting my first investment. There are always bumps in the road but as your REALTOR® I promise to make it as smooth of a ride as possible. Originally from Philadelphia, PA I moved to Charleston, SC upon graduating from the University of Delaware. I first started selling real estate in SC where I met my wonderful husband, Josh, who at the time was in the US Navy. Upon his completion, he was offered a job with Areva & we moved here to Lynchburg, VA in 2007. Josh is now owner of Lynchburg Radon Solutions & licensed Radon Mitigation Installer! I tend to do things a little differently and truly love getting to know my clients on a personal level...after all, buying or selling your home is one of the most personal, most expensive choices you will make in your entire life. Having owned several investment properties in the past, I remember putting myself in the same position you are. What a great reminder of all the twists and turns this wild ride can take you on no matter which side of the transaction you are pursuing!     We ended up reaching out to Michelle after getting no response from other agents that had been recommended to us, and were SO pleased we found her! As first time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions and needed a fair amount of help in the process, and Michelle and her team made every step a breeze! She was super responsive, and definitely listened to what we wanted and made sure we found it. Even when we had some last minute issues with the seller, she worked hard to make sure every little detail was taken care of so we could close on time!

    You won't regret going with Michelle. I had a previous experience with another real estate agent about 2 years ago, same property, and nothing happened except for one abysmal offer one month into the process. Three years later, I tried again, and Michelle showed me clearly where the previous real estate agent had gone wrong and had the connections and the pre-selling skills to find me an excellent offer within a few days. She also has excellent references for people to repair the party.

    Michelle was super helpful! As first time home buyers we had so many questions and she was very patient explaining the process! I genuinely felt she only had our best interests in mind the whole time! I didn't feel like she was pressuring us in order to make a profit or anything, even advising us to wait if necessary. Overall pleasant experience with Michelle!

    Michelle was amazing, very helpful talking us through aspects of the buying process that we didn't know about even though this was our 2nd house. Incredibly responsive whether by phone, email, or text always got a quick response. Had very great tips/direction on getting our house ready to sell. Had great recommendations for contractors and other companies in the business for repairs/inspections etc.
