ZillowVERIFIEDMichael did an excellent job helping us buy a condo for our son. He was very responsive, professional, and a great realtor to work with. Michael went above and beyond to accommodate our times and needs for viewing properties as we lived out of town. Negotiated very well with the sellers of the property so that we had a less stressful time during the process. I would highly recommend Michael to any friends or family. Thanks again Michael.

ZillowVERIFIED I can't speak highly enough about Michael Kalaman and the wonderful work he did helping us with the sale of a piece of land recently. We are not from the area and knew nothing about the property nor did we know any realtors. Thankfully my realtor friend connected us to Michael. Within a few days of talking and agreeing to list with him, he had visited the property, taken drone shots, talked with the county, had the hay cut and researched comps. Within another few days we were under contract (for nearly asking price!) and 2ish weeks later we closed. His expertise and professionalism were the best I've ever seen. He is definitely the one you want representing you whether you are buying or selling!

ZillowVERIFIED Michael truly went above and beyond for us as first time home buyers. Michael has great knowledge of the area, process expertise, responsiveness and negotiating skills; saved us a significant amount because of his negotiating skills and advice. Michael also has a good amount of knowledge beyond his role -- helping to spot issues in houses during the tours and discussing the potential implication of issues.

ZillowVERIFIED Wow - what an incredible experience with Michael as our realtor! From a little conversation over drinks about our dream property to signing the closing papers, Michael was in our corner 100% of the time. His quick connection with the seller's realtor (even before we made our official offer), his phone calls to the town, VDOT and the utility companies, his introduction to the lender we used, and his constant communicativeness with us made this experience smooth and painless. He dealt with any questions or problems quickly and skillfully and we never felt that we were on our own while buying land (a first for us). We would recommend Michael to anyone, and we will absolutely use him in the future should we have any real estate needs at all.

ZillowVERIFIED I can't say enough how much we are thankful that Michael was the agent helping us buy our home. You would think it would be difficult buying a house in Virginia while living in living hundreds of miles away. But Michael made as if we were right next door. Never was there a time he didn't respond almost immediately to any question or concern. We always felt very well represented though the entire bidding and purchasing process. We were always pleased with his advise on matters needing decisions. His recommendations were always spot on when helping us choose everything from a mortgage company down to a painter. He knows this area like the back of his hand. Being in our seventies, we have brought and sold many homes. We can confidently and honestly say that we never experienced a better, more competent, caring and knowledgable real estate agent, now broker, than Michael Kalman. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants an almost carefree buying or selling experience. We will certrainly be calling Michael for help with any real estate matters we have in the future. Thank you Michael!!

ZillowVERIFIED Michael was awesome. He was great at communicating with us and providing requested information related to details of properties such as ages of roofs and HVAC. He always responded in a timely manner to us and was very good at communicating with the seller's agents. Michael spent a lot of time when viewing properties paying attention to details including water management issues and maintenance. He provided excellent service and was a pleasure to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED I very rarely write a review, but felt this deserved one. My husband and I knew we wanted to move, and ended up getting connected with Michael, not knowing anything about him or Valley Realty. Thank GOD we ended up with him. He has been the most wonderful resource, and person, in general. In the span of 6 days, we listed our house, sold our house, put an offer in on another house, and went under contract. Michael answered every single text, call, and panicked email incredibly quickly. If you need a realtor, absolutely 10/10 recommend this amazing human. THANK YOU, MICHAEL! ??

ZillowVERIFIED Michael helped us buy our first house. We looked for almost a year and went to countless walkthroughs. He never pushed us to buy something we didn't want, he sent us listings he thought we would like as soon as they were posted, and scheduled showings in a timely manner. Truthfully, we were pretty picky with our house selection, so the process took time, but Michael was never impatient with us. He knew what kind of house we were looking for, and scouted the market to find homes he thought we would like. Once we found a home we liked, he ensure the closing process went smoothly, advocated for us to the sellers, and gave us referrals for a loan officer (Veronica Amato, who is amazing!), kitchen remodel, chimney inspection, and any other items we needed assistance with. 10/10, hands down the best realtor in Rockingham County!

ZillowVERIFIED If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. Michael made our experience as first-time home buyers so easy, and fun! He has gone - and continues to go - above and beyond. He grew incentive in the area and had great knowledge of neighborhoods, and home vendors. Every rec he made was who we went with and were excellent. Do not choose anyone else!!

ZillowVERIFIED My family and I are currently living and working outside of the US, with plans to move back permanently in the near future. We found a home that we would like to purchase, however, because of the pandemic travel restrictions, it was impossible to visit and take care of the purchase, paperwork and everything else that goes with the sale of a home in person. Therefore we needed someone that could handle this transaction for us remotely. Then we found Michael!Michael was so easy and great to work with. He went up, over and beyond all the reasonable things a realtor should do. I dont think there will be enough space to list all the amazing things he did for us. This past year, he helped us purchase our new home as well as sell our old one. He is organized, responsive, and above all, proactive! Many questions or issues we brought up throughout the buying and selling process Michael had already addressed and had reasonable options laid out for us. He made himself available for calls at any time of day or night, (which was an unfortunate necessity because we were communicating with a 12 hour time difference). Michael is an all-around great guy and amazing realtor. If you are reading this, THANK YOU MICHAEL!

ZillowVERIFIED In this market, Michael was always quick to send us new listings that met our criteria and always available in order that we might see properties immediately. We selected Michael to purchase our new home, (under asking price), as well as, the sale of our old home, (above market value). He answered all questions and guided us through the process with ease and with virtually no hiccups. He provided top notch professionals, i.e. photographers and inspectors, who also made the process painless. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home. I would certainly use him again should the need present itself.
