ZillowVERIFIED Proceed with caution. I can say that Melissa knows her craft, but you better know yours very well too. Shes seems very competent in putting a deal together quickly but 1. Make sure you are well researched. Shell simply execute without necessarily letting you know what all the options are and what choices you have. So for experienced buyers this is fine but for first time home buyers, not the best choice. 2. Make sure ahead of time you are committed to either the property you want to buy (see next point) or to working with her. To put in an offer, youll be asked to sign a 10 month exclusivity contract with her. Not necessarily a bad thing but just make sure you know what youre committing to. 3. If you tour a house with her, and are interested in it, shell be eyeing her commission very zealously. This was my experience with her: I toured a property with her and liked the property, so we started to put a deal together. During this process, many factors led me to feel uncomfortable working with her, including the 10 month exclusivity clause, and so I told her I was no longer comfortable working with her. She responded with an intent to sue for her commission (if I move forward to purchase that property). [Nothing was signed, no offer letter, no buyer's agreement]. All the above is very well documented, feel free to reach out.

ZillowVERIFIED Melissa was fantastic to work with. As a first time home buyer, she was great about helping me get acclimated to what is one of the most intense markets in the United States. She worked with me to find a price point that I liked and execute on buying a condo. Even when I would decide to suddenly put in an offer the morning of she was on the ball about contacting the selling agent and getting the offer put together in a great timeframe. In a market like Seattle's it's of the utmost importance that you are able to move quickly on things, and Melissa excelled at that. Additionally she was really on top of things when it came to getting me documents quickly and getting any and all random questions I had about the properties answered by the selling agent. I will definitely work with Melissa again for any property buying or selling I might do in the future.

Melissa was patient and highly knowledgeable, given she has been in her field for a while. As a first time homebuyer you feel like a small fish in the big pond, once I set my eyes on my dream house, Melissa made sure I was certain and allowed wait time which is super important. When it came time to present an offer, Melissa, diligently assisted me with each step from understanding my options and providing scenarios to supporting me with crafting an offer. Committing to an offer meant more than paper work and some dollar signs, Melissa made sure to add my voice when representing me.
