Review I've had a great experience working with Mel and Erin. They are a fantastic team - kept on top of every little wrinkle of each transaction. First had to pull out of a potential purchase when an inspection revealed too many shortcomings with a house. Both Mel and Erin stuck with me, showing me several other properties before I found the right one. They have an incredible set of trade contacts (beginning with an excellent inspector) and their teamwork kept everything moving forward. Also wonderful ladies outside of real estate! Review I love Mel! I called her about some land that was for sell, back in 2016. Mel answered all of my questions, and if she didn't know the answer she would find the answer. She always got back to me super fast. Long story short, she's great at communication! She then We love her so much that we called her when we were looking for a house back in 2017 and then again this year ?? She has helped us with our housing needs 3 times now! We plan to call her again in the future :-) Not only has she helped us buy homes, she has also helped us sell homes!we always recommend her to our family and our friends. She just sold a house to my mother in law :-) One person you can definitely count on, and that's Mel!

Review After a terrible experience with another realtor, we were looking for someone experienced that 'understood' our property: an old house, downtown Fredericksburg from 1893, that is in good shape but still needs a bit of work. Melda was the perfect realtor that we were looking for! She took care of all of our concerns. As first-time house sellers we had a lot of questions that she patiently answered. Also incredible: her super good eye for details. She added the perfect decorative details to our house for the photo and video shoot. Melda was also so patient with us and never pushed us to make an offer on a house unless we were certain it was what we wanted. The market was pretty crazy when we were looking and we made offers on a few houses before we found our current house, but even with how competitive the market was, Melda always made sure we were comfortable with the offers we were making and provided great insight on whether some of the details of the deal were worth it or not. Overall, we were so incredibly lucky to have worked with Melda and we are so grateful to her amazing work ethic and drive to find us our home!

Review I absolutely LOVE Mel. In 2016 we called Mel about some land for sell. She immediately called us back and answered all of our questions. If she didn't have an answer for us, she would find the answer. I don't think it ever took her more than a day to get back to us on anything. She is very responsive! Review Melda did a wonderful job handling the sale of my house in Colonial Beach. Her research and expertise helped determine a reasonable price. She ensured that the house was cleaned so that it showed well. She negotiated a fair deal. At the last minute there was a flood from a leaking upstairs pipe. She personally arranged the remediation services and then the contractor to perform repairs. Thanks to her efforts we were able to settle on the original date. Her work throughout was professional and competent. I could not be more pleased.

Review Melda is a fantastic realtor. We first met her when we were looking for a rental to move in to from across the country from Washington to Virginia. She showed us houses and helped us find a rental which we really appreciated. Since she was so great with the rental, we requested her assistance purchasing a home as well. She was amazing all the way from showing us houses to the closing on our new home. She kept us well informed of every process and definitely looked out for our best interest. The realtor for the sellars was being very difficult the entire time, and we are so thankful for Melda because she went above and beyond looking out for us and making sure everything got taken care of. I will recommend her to everyone I know.
