When buying our new house, we chanced upon the open house and didnt have an agent yet. Max was the selling agent and offered to represent us also as the buying agent (which is permitted in Washington state) since offers were already rolling in and we had to move fast. We had concerns about the same agent representing both sides, but Max walked us through the process and was very transparent throughout the sale. He onboarded us quickly and answered all our questions quickly which gave us the info we needed to make decisions and put together a competitive offer fast. Max represented both sides fairly and I feel we were able to win our dream house through his guidance. Max and his team also shined as our selling agent. When getting our house ready for sale, he had a strong Rolodex of contractors that worked fast and charged fair prices. Max also pushed us to invest in projects to really improve the curb appeal such as installing new garage doors and hiring a color consultant when we repainted the exterior. The new color scheme really improved the look of the house. He also pushed us to hire an interior stager which we didnt initially want, but turned out to be an entirely worth it as the house looked amazing when we listed (much better than what we could have come up with on our own). Maxs team communicated well and helped us keep the contractors on track. Max helped us price the house to move quickly while maximizing value. Multiple competing offers came in from day 1 and we were able to accept an offer we were very happy with only 4 days after listing. We met him at the open house and from that point on he was extremely responsive in answering our questions about the house we ultimately ended up purchasing, and also questions about a few other houses we were considering. He was even prepared to put us in contact with a different builder, and already started asking them questions on our behalf, when we weren't sure which house was the best fit for us. Throughout our entire transaction Max was very quick to respond to us and any questions we had, including making sure we were well connected to his team if he was ever not available to us, even if only for a couple hours. Max executed flawlessly with my recent home purchase. There were zero surprises, his extended team is 100% aligned, responsive, professional, and so positive and friendly. What I didnt expect, and have been so delighted with is how helpful and responsive Max has been AFTER the purchase and sale agreement was signed and even after closing. He goes above and beyond in so many ways. This included introductions to a contractor, suggestions/help with renting my previous property, pulling archived building plans on the house I purchase, and the list goes on and on. Bottom line, Max completely exceeded expectations from start to finish and I will absolutely work with him again on future real estate needs. I could not be more satisfied.
