After an exhaustive search of existing homes, she helped us work our way through the purchase of a model home before it was listed on the open market. We were conducting a lot of the paperwork from out of town, and Louann and her husband made the vast majority of the documents available on line. This removed the need for us to travel with a fax machine in the trunk of the car. We had several issues with the builder's marketing staff and Louann was there every step of negotiations and made sure every detail was in writing so that the builder couldn't wiggle out of it. This was our third home purchase and Louann was by far the most helpful buyer agent we have worked with. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family moving to the Northern VA area. We were very happy with her service.

ZillowVERIFIED I responded to a posting by this broker for a timeshare in Aruba. Louann and I exchanged e-mails and confirmed a deal to purchase the timeshare at the requested price. However, Louann wanted to close the deal herself without the use of a Brooker. I explained that would be fine but I needed reassurance that we have a deal because there was another timeshare offered at the same price at the same location and I was concerned that if she did not know what she was doing, I would rather purchase the other property. She promised that it would be no problem and we had a deal. Weeks later I contacted her to see how it was going. She again assured me that she was working through Marriott and once she received the paperwork and approval we would close the deal. Weeks and months later no word from Louann. She also advertised this property as a "deeded" property but I repeatedly asked her if she was sure since my understanding is that there are no deeded properties in Aruba on the beach and instead it is a Right To Use property. I knew she was incorrect but still wanted to close the deal. It was apparent to me she did not understand what she was selling and that she did not know how to proceed. Luckily for me, after months of waiting to hear from Louann, I figured out she really did not have a clue and closed a deal on another Timeshare for the same price using a broker. That transaction went very smooth, was closed in 4 weeks and was very inexpensive. Funny thing is almost a year later I see that she still has her posting for the same property and still listed as a "deeded" property. My advice, stay far away from this broker/real estate agent. I would be very concerned that the transaction would go through correctly and it would not be worth the risk to me. Lesson learned for me to use a reputable broker/agent.
