    About Logan Allred

In 2013, Logan Allred was purchasing her first home with her husband. She was impressed with her agent's exceptional service; a memory that inspires her while she guides and protects her clients across her community through the biggest transactions of their lives. Logan is a true believer in the power of real estate, having amassed considerable wealth stemming from that first investment.

Since then, she's walked the full spectrum of the real estate industry with personal stakes in the game: she's bought and sold properties, serves as a landlord, managed sensitive insurance matters, and addressed all manner of domestic disasters including leaks, floods, and fires. She passes on her knowledge and experience directly to her clients as she leads them down the most secure pathways to their real estate goals.

Logan grew up in Texas where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. Her worldliness inspired her to travel often and even take up residence in Germany for several years. In 2019, she moved with her husband and two cats (Jeffrey and Oliver) to California where she quickly obtained her real estate license. Logan remains fascinated by Hollywood, appearing on shows like Let's Make a Deal, Million Dollar Listing, and even appearing on local news to discuss a fire that claimed her home. If you're looking for a hard-working, insightful agent with plenty of personal and professional experience in Pomona, Glendora, Claremont, La Verne, Upland, San Dimas, Chino Hills, Diamond Bar and all of the Inland Empire call Logan today!

    Answered Questions

How can I improve my chances of getting approved for a mortgage?

Hi Chris, I am an agent here in Southern California and I work with a lot of first time buyers that have this exact question. The bottom line is the better your credit score is the better your interest rate may be which means you can afford more home! My advice is to speak with your lender and realtor now to start helping you get prepared for next year. Everyone's financial situation is different and a lender can take your details and advise on the most impactful actions you can take to improve your credit and reduce your monthly obligations. Remember when you buy a home you should have a team of people on your side guiding you the entire time, start leaning on them as early as possible.

What is the strangest reason someone refused to buy a home?

Hi Jimmy! What a fun question, this is only strange because my buyer walked away from a great opportunity . My buyer was under contract in the exact city and neighborhood they had originally asked for. Inspection was great and seller agreed to all requested repairs, appraisal came in over purchase price (so they were getting instant equity) and then when we were about to remove the contingencies they decided that location was too far away from their current life (about 45 minutes). Mind you, they selected the location and even viewed the home at an open house before I went back to look at it with them.

Can I take my peony with me?

Either remove the plant prior to listing or if the property is already listed, I ask your agent to write in the contract that the plant will be removed at close of escrow. If you are already under contract the buyer has the right to keep the plant, let your agent know and they may try to work it out with the buyer so you can still keep it.

Can you negotiate mortgage rates with lenders?

Absolutely! Please do, lenders have resources that allow them to be more competitive if necessary. It is recommended that you consult with at least three lenders and remember to compare as a whole: fees, rates and points! If possible, have an example home ready to compare what each loan will look like if you use that lenders product.

How involved should I be in the open house process?

Hi Jean! Please leave it to your agent entirely, the best way you can help is making sure the house is decluttered and cleaned. Your agent will take it from there and make sure the buyers feel comfortable to look around. When the seller is there it is hard for the buyer to get fully comfortable and imagine living there themselves.
