ZillowVERIFIED We had an amazing experience buying our house through Lauryn. We first contacted her and let her know we were just looking and not seriously considering moving at the time. She was still extremely helpful and happy to show us several homes, even knowing that we weren't likely to buy. When we looked at different homes, she gave us her honest opinion on which ones she thought would (and would not) be right for us. It was clear that she was focused on finding us the "right" place, and not at all concerned with what would bring her a higher commission. During that time we really got to know her well and completely trusted that she had our best interest in mind. She also knew Reston extremely well which was a great asset when we were looking around the area. When we were finally ready to buy, she had great perspective on the offer we should make and was able to get it through almost immediately. We also used Lauryn to sell our house! She did a walk through and set us up with a stager within a couple of days, and once we went to market we received an above-asking price offer within 24 hours. ZillowVERIFIED Lindsey represented me to help me purchase my first home. Leading up to making an offer, Lindsey was very knowledgeable, professional and responsive . However, during the 2-month period between when my offer was accepted and when the Seller actually moved out, support waned. I did not get the support I needed to make sure that the Seller actually did everything they were required to do under the contract (which they did not). Lindsey also misled me prior to closing day by ensuring me that a home warranty she was offering me would cover a major repair needed, but in the end I had to pay 100% of the expense myself. Another thing that bothered me was that I was not provided the Buyer/Agent Agreement to sign until AFTER Lindsey submitted the offer for me. As a result, I was blindsided by a large agent fee outlined in the agreement (that was in addition to the 2.5% commission). If I was aware of this fee upfront, I may have gone with other representation.
