ZillowVERIFIED I cannot recommend Jen Glyzinski enough. She is, by far, the most helpful realtor I've ever worked with. It took me quite a while to get my house ready to put on the market. The whole time, Jen played the roles of realtor, advisor, cheerleader, therapist, and voice of reason. She put me in touch with a great handyman (at a great price!) and plumber to help me get through the final push to get the house on the market. Together, Jen and Laurie staged the house and made it look great. Once the house was listed, Jen kept in close touch with me to discuss activity and strategy going forward. I cannot adequately express how fantastic she was during our home search. We started out with a tour in January and we went home and started work to put our house on the market. The whole time she kept in touch - keeping us updated on inventory (which is at historic lows). She did countless virtual tours for us (Covid) until there was one that we thought we loved. She got us in to see it the day it went to market and we made an offer. She worked her magic and got us the house! Unfortunately, during inspection, there were issues we couldnt make work, so we rescinded and moved on. ZillowVERIFIED When I was looking to buy the house I was renting, my neighbor recommended Laurie. Though I could have skipped the whole realtor step, I wanted to make sure things were done right. Laurie did not disappoint! First off, she is so passionate about what she does. She walked me through the whole process of how she determines if a house is priced fairly. This was very important to me as I wanted to honor my landlords' asking price but also wanted to make sure I was getting a fair deal. Plus, it was interesting! Secondly, I was out of town when I saw a different house on the market I was curious about and knew it would go fast. Laurie went to the house herself and then called me with a comparison to my rental. ZillowVERIFIED Upon deciding to sell the house, our first action is to select a real estate agent. I searched the internet hoping to find an agent with much success in their listings, knowledge of our area and have a good web presence. My wife had something else in mind. She showed me a picture of a For Sale sign, which she took from our neighbors yard when it was up for sale. This property was sold in less than two weeks! I checked the agents background from the website and came to a conclusion that the group shes in have all the criteria we were looking for, plus a lot more. My gut feeling tells me that she is the one to handle the sale of my house and I'm glad I followed my instinct. The agent I called was Lauri Satushek of Keller Williams. Unlike another agent, she is not a one-person operation. She had put together a team who can effectively help potential buyer or seller achieved their utmost goal by providing needed support and attention that can be soothing, while getting through the agonizing process of waiting. I was so impressed with their Marketing Strategy as inferred in their website. Being a professional myself, to be effective you need a plan and execution to be successful. They have it all as illustrated at their website. Jen Glyzinski, Listing Specialist, helped us a lot in filling up the paperwork, providing status of showings and comments made by clients and frees the seller from anxiety, if offer is not materializing. Other documents required to process the execution and showing was handled by Caitlyn Martinsen and she did an excellent job. Layla Pollack handled the Open House and managed the enormous amount of traffic just on one Sunday afternoon. And last but not least, Steve Satushek. The photographs of the house he took, captured the curiosity of buyers looking at the property on the website and logged tremendous number of visits and saves. I can say from my experienced working with a team to represent you is a lot better than one. I should say they got me at aEURoeHiaEUR? when I signed up with them. The offer we received was not exactly what we were hoping for. We gave Jen a figure to counter with the buyer and whatever supporting reasons she said to justify, it closed the deal. The next hurdle was to address the Inspectors findings. She kept us assured as to the great condition of our house and not to worry. The buyer requested some minor repairs which we wholeheartedly agreed to fixed. Lastly, we decided to move out of the house earlier than the escrows closing date. Jen was able to talked to the escrow officer if we can sign the paperwork prior to our moved to another city. It was a great effort for Jen to make it happened since we saved a lot of time and effort to travel back to Bellingham. Escrow closing went on smoothly and on time. ZillowVERIFIED We had an amazing experience working with Layla and Laurie. Laurie began by initial tour of neighborhoods and homes - giving us her honest opinion and then Layla worked with us on the house we loved. There were 3 other competing offers within a day of listing and we were able to get the house in-spite of not putting forward the highest offer. Layla worked with us to put together the proposal package in a matter of hours and helped us with pulling the right offer along with escalation clauses to ensure we had the strongest offer without being the highest. As one would imagine, the seller was a tough one and even after accepting the offer, he changed his mind often in the 30 days that followed to complete the inspection and closing the deal. That made the process stressful for us but Layla helped us throughout in the best capacity she could. She pushed back on the sellers' agent as necessary while ensuring that the deal does not fall through. I think here is where the real 'value' of realtors come in - handling delicate situations which would otherwise break the deal. I would highly recommend both Layla and Laurie. One thing I really appreciated about Laurie was her honesty while sharing here opinions about the houses she showed us cause for one of the house - she told us upfront that we won't be happy there even though it was nice and shiny, because of the location. In retrospect, we are happy we did not go ahead with that house and waited for the one we have now as this one checks off all the points we had in our hopes and dreams list.

The negotiations with the sellers had some roadbumps, but Jen helped make the transaction go smoothly. During our house search, Jen took the time to learn our particular desires in a new house and did a great job picking candidates that were a good fit. She had valuable knowledge about new houses coming on the market before they were posted. That was important in this competitive market. She picked the final winner for us before it was listed and said it would be worth the 7 hour R/T drive to come see that one house. We were able to bid and get under contract before it was even shown once. She has great negotiation skills which undoubtedly helped get our offer accepted given their were multiple offers, and made the whole process very transparent. The other nice thing about Jen is she is not hard sell, but rather paid attention to our needs. Also, the great thing about working with anyone in Laurie's team is that they actually work together rather than being competitive with each other. When Jen was out of town, Laurie and Layla, another agent on Laurie's team, stepped in and showed us houses. That non-competitive, team approach is probably unique. Having worked in the real estate industry over 10 years in CA it's safe to say I have really high expectations when it comes to real estate agents! Couple those expectations with the stress and intensity of a 1300 mile relocation to a place I'd never been before. I interviewed 3 agents over the phone and chose Laurie. She knows her stuff and it showed. Before our house hunting trip I spoke with Laurie at least half a dozen times by phone or email with questions about communities, schools and certain properties. She was quick with her responses and HONEST! One email came back saying "that's a busy street, stay away from it with your kiddos". Once we got into town Lauries was with us the entire weekend looking at 12 houses, offering input, answering questions, showing us the area, writing an offer and through the stages of negotiation to an accepted offer...all on her birthday weekend (which she failed to mention). We, unknowingly, almost made her late to her birthday dinner! Laurie is patient, kind and unassuming. She is also admittedly frugal, wants you to get the best deal possible and has strategies to do so! Through the purchase of our home I've come to find that Lauries is well respected in the community and amongst her colleagues. She also has every connection under the sun for lenders, painters, handyment etc. Anyone she associates with or recommends has to meet her high standards. If there is any take away from my experience with Laurie, she's a solid choice and top notch for any real estate needs. She won't disappoint and will most definitely exceed your expectations (with ease)!
