Upon deciding to sell the house, our first action is to select a real estate agent. I searched the internet hoping to find an agent with much success in their listings, knowledge of our area and have a good web presence. My wife had something else in mind. She showed me a picture of a For Sale sign, which she took from our neighbors yard when it was up for sale. This property was sold in less than two weeks! I checked the agents background from the website and came to a conclusion that the group shes in have all the criteria we were looking for, plus a lot more. My gut feeling tells me that she is the one to handle the sale of my house and I'm glad I followed my instinct. The agent I called was Lauri Satushek of Keller Williams. Unlike another agent, she is not a one-person operation. She had put together a team who can effectively help potential buyer or seller achieved their utmost goal by providing needed support and attention that can be soothing, while getting through the agonizing process of waiting. I was so impressed with their Marketing Strategy as inferred in their website. Being a professional myself, to be effective you need a plan and execution to be successful. They have it all as illustrated at their website. Jen Glyzinski, Listing Specialist, helped us a lot in filling up the paperwork, providing status of showings and comments made by clients and frees the seller from anxiety, if offer is not materializing. Other documents required to process the execution and showing was handled by Caitlyn Martinsen and she did an excellent job. Layla Pollack handled the Open House and managed the enormous amount of traffic just on one Sunday afternoon. And last but not least, Steve Satushek. The photographs of the house he took, captured the curiosity of buyers looking at the property on the website and logged tremendous number of visits and saves. I can say from my experienced working with a team to represent you is a lot better than one. I should say they got me at aEURoeHiaEUR? when I signed up with them. The offer we received was not exactly what we were hoping for. We gave Jen a figure to counter with the buyer and whatever supporting reasons she said to justify, it closed the deal. The next hurdle was to address the Inspectors findings. She kept us assured as to the great condition of our house and not to worry. The buyer requested some minor repairs which we wholeheartedly agreed to fixed. Lastly, we decided to move out of the house earlier than the escrows closing date. Jen was able to talked to the escrow officer if we can sign the paperwork prior to our moved to another city. It was a great effort for Jen to make it happened since we saved a lot of time and effort to travel back to Bellingham. Escrow closing went on smoothly and on time. A big aEURoeThank YouaEUR? to Jen and her co-workers. This process would have not been successful without their attention to details. They are indeed a 5-Star Real Estate Team. Prospective sellers wouldnt be disappointed if they signed up with this team!!

When I was looking to buy the house I was renting, my neighbor recommended Laurie. Though I could have skipped the whole realtor step, I wanted to make sure things were done right. Laurie did not disappoint! First off, she is so passionate about what she does. She walked me through the whole process of how she determines if a house is priced fairly. This was very important to me as I wanted to honor my landlords' asking price but also wanted to make sure I was getting a fair deal. Plus, it was interesting! Secondly, I was out of town when I saw a different house on the market I was curious about and knew it would go fast. Laurie went to the house herself and then called me with a comparison to my rental. Thirdly, everyone Laurie recommended we use-the inspector, the loan officer, the mortgage company-was friendly and very thorough. Finally, but most importantly, I felt well-represented. This was not the first house I bought and it was definitely a different circumstance as a rental I'd lived in for awhile, but it was emotional just the same. Recently widowed, I had relocated to Bellingham for a fresh start.
