This whole process went much faster and smoother than I anticipated, and I credit that all to Kim. She listed the place on a Thursday and we had a good offer within a day or two. Throughout she has patiently answered all of my questions, and anticipated things I didn't even know I needed - for example, getting a power of attorney and moving up the closing date when we realized I wouldn't be able to attend the closing in person. She also made sure that my renter was informed and not inconvenienced during the showing process. She communicated promptly and emailed new listings daily, but also when showing me properties she had a keen eye and made lots of recommendations and pointed out things many buyers, particularly new buyers, might overlook or fail to consider. During my search, she checked in with me often to see if I was happy with what I was finding or if I had questions. When I asked to alter the online search parameters a few times, she did so immediately. She answered all questions thoroughly and always kept me up to date once we entered negotiations with the seller. Because she was very familiar with the area and understood what type of home I wanted, the process of finding, offering/negotiating, and closing took less time than I had imagined. Even when she and I were both out of town during a part of the negotiation stage, she made extra efforts to stay in touch, offer advice, send documents, and make sure all bases were covered.
