Make sure you are working with a local agent and local lender. They will know the area best and will advocate for you.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Make sure you are working with a local realtor with local MLS access. When interviewing ask what kind of marketing they will provide and what they will do for your property.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

You name it, I have worked with them. No two transactions are ever the same, but I welcome the challenge and pride myself on making the process as smooth as possible. I work with first time buyers, relocating families, investors, vacation home seekers, and sellers of anything from mobile homes to waterfront and luxury properties throughout the Florida Keys.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

My favorite part of real estate is working with repeat clients. They know me, they know how I operate, and most importantly, they trust me. That trust has been built through years of hard work, dedication, and transparency. There is no greater compliment than when a past client chooses me again or refers me to their friends and family. Currently I am closing one for a past client, now our 3rd transaction together.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I got started in real estate because my mother was a Realtor here in the Florida Keys. From a young age I was in awe of the business. I loved the sales world and especially the challenge of figuring out exactly what someone’s needs are and then matching them with the perfect property. That passion turned into a career, and now I get to help people find their dream homes in the same community where I grew up.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Yes, I have extensive experience in both marketing and sales. I started out working for a local publication, where I learned what truly makes marketing effective. From there, I built a career with over 22 years in sales, developing strong skills and building lasting relationships. I am also very well connected within the local community, which gives my clients an added advantage.

As a first time home buyer, Kelly assured me she would "hold my hand" through the process, and she more than delivered. Kelly was knowledgeable, communicative, kept me in the loop, & patient. We saw 8 homes in one day, she was able to give us access to a home being finished and a home that came on the market the same day (which is the one we bought). We met Kelly on a vacation here in Key Largo just before we left for home in Illinois. We told her what we were looking for in a home. She sent us listings until we found what we wanted. Kelly took our son to check out some houses before we found our new home. We made an offer, had a counter offer and we made another offer which was accepted. Next she helped us find a lawyer, inspectors lawn service, tree service and an air conditioning guy because we wanted a split unit in our garage. She helped us with information on the homestead exemption once we moved here and with getting insurance and utilities all in order before we moved. She ordered a mail box for us and had it personalized. To this day Kelly is our go to person when we need to find something. I cant say enough about how wonderful she is. We highly recommend her. My brother is looking to move here and Kelly is sending him listings which we will look at for him if he is interested.

Kelly was great when we bought our new home. We met her and decided to buy in Key Largo but had to go back to Illinois before we had a chance to look at houses. She sent us listings and took our son to look at the houses. Once we found the house we wanted she helped us with finding a lawyer and with utilities. We closed on our house while we were still in Illinois. Kelly answered every question we had. She ordered a mail box for us and had it personalized for us. What a peasant surprise. Once here she helped us with our homestead filing, letting us know the process and where to file. My brother is now interested in moving here. Kelly is sending him listings based on his wants and needs. She definitely goes way beyond what a real estate agent usually does.
