Initially we did not see eye to eye on the selling price of my home however things changed during the Covid 19 crisis. Properties were selling quickly and closer to the range that I wanted to list. We had a great response with over 15 offers within 48 hours. He walked me through the process and provided great information when we were out looking at homes. He was humble, down to earth but most importantly VERY hands on which is why we were able to sell our property very quickly when he came on board. Our property was close to being a distress sale and many agents didnt have the ability or skill set to sell the property the way Julian did. ZillowVERIFIED Julian was excellent to work with! A family member referred him to me to purchase my first house this year. Needless to say the experience was somewhat different since it all coincided with the worst of the coronavirus. Julian was determined to get me to the finish line and into a new home. His approach is casual while you're initially shopping and touring. He won't pressure you to make offers on anything until you're ready. Once the offer and negotiations are on the table though he has nothing but your best interest in mind. His response time is almost immediate for any questions you contact him with. Any emails or information he receives is forwarded to you ASAP - something that I greatly appreciated throughout the process.His area of expertise is SW Atlanta which is where I started my search. Eventually I ended up outside the perimeter in Mableton. He made sure to cover the bases in researching and comparing the area in order to get a fair price.With his broad knowledge of real estate and good sense of humor I'd be happy to recommend him.

But after my house has been on the market and I received two offers that fell through mr. Jackson then asked me to drop my price by $40,000 and then on the day of my closing showed up 20 minutes late did not discuss any of the pertinent details of my closing. Continue to have poor follow up with information that he was only providing Me by text message at this point. Upon closing he congratulate it himself and me for such a well job done. He didn't even realize that I hadn't even gotten my check at closing he was only concerned with his check. A disappointment to say the least

What impressed me most was Julian's patience with us, being young prospective home owners my wife and I had never given a lot of thought to the kind of home we wanted which seemed to change by the day as we got into the home hunting process. Another impressive quality Mr. Jackson possessed was flexible and available. Both my spouse and I work fluctuating schedules, so scheduling appointments to view homes was pretty difficult. ZillowVERIFIED I had initially decided to go with Julian as my real estate agent when I began the home-selling process based off of his reviews and number of homes sold in the area. After only about 3 days of working with him, I quickly severed the agreement and it was the best decision I could have ever made. For Julian, I was a number, not a person. At no point did I believe that he was there to represent me, my home, or have my best interests in mind, but instead just was another sale that he could brag about. He low-balled the selling price of my home and was adamant that it would net significantly less. Prior to terminating the agreement, I had a conversation with him just expressing my concerns regarding his priorities, and he immediately became defensive and argumentative, stating things such as "when your ready to work with an honest/transparent agent let me know." Not only that, but when I finally did put my home on the market, he continued to text me, almost throwing it in my face that we had gone with a higher price point and that we were going to "prove him wrong" which I felt was extremely petty and inappropriate. He has damaged a lot of relationships in the neighborhood, is unprofessional, and looks at sales as numbers, not as people. I would not recommend him ever. (not only did my home sell but it sold for significantly more than what he had tried to list my home for)

I think for an experienced buyer he is great, plays the role of a buyer's representative very well.My one recommendation for those considering working with Julian is be sure to have a very thorough upfront meeting detailing your expectations. Julian has many clients so if you're looking for any specialized attention you need to make this known. As a first-time home buyer, I would have liked a little more support from the beginning, but this is something that I should have made aware from the start.
