Hello, my name is Jennifer Moore I'm a real estate agent in Amherst, Va. I am a native of Amherst having been born and raised here, I married my high school sweetheart and together raised four children. After my youngest son graduated Amherst High School, I went after my dream, to be a real estate agent. I'm familiar with the county and love what it has to offer. I like to tell my buyers to make sure they find a home that fits their needs and to find a realtor that will search for what they need. Also when they do find a home they like to make sure to get their home inspections done because you don't want any surprises done the road.
For my sellers my advice is don't overprice your home, that's a sure fire way for it to sit on the market for a longer period of time. Also to make sure you have decluttered your home and done repairs that may be needed.
I have worked with buyers and sellers and each one is special in their own way.
I have a young couple determined to get a specific home for their son and she was having a hard time finding a lender, so I helped her find someone who could do the transaction for her even though she had just started a new job.
I was a stay at home mother raising 4 amazing children and when the last one graduated 2 years ago I decided to do my life long dream of becoming a real estate agent. So the day after my son graduated I enrolled in real estate school, studied, took the exams, passed, received my license and the rest is history.
I just recently graduated from BOLD which is taught me many different things about real estate that will benefit not only me but my clients.
