She held our seller to the fire in making sure he did what he said he'd do and in our case, when he didn't, got us $2500 toward repairs at closing during our walk through. ZillowVERIFIEDWe had a scheduled military move to the Hinesville/Richmond Hill area in May 2019. Since we will only be in the area for 2 years we were looking to rent and tried to work with Remax but they were unable to work with us. First, their office doesn't open until 10 am. You can only be shown a rental by the property manager that represents that particular property. They work independently so as a potential renter you have to set appts with each individual property manager attached to each property, they don't work together and they don't promptly return your phone calls. Because we were slightly ahead of the "military moving cycle" rentals were few and far between and our options were poor at best and next to impossible to get into to because the tenants were still there or the property manager was unavailable. Exasperated and running out of time, we walked into the Randy Bocook Real Estate Team office in hopes of finding a rental. Jennifer Holt came out and listened to our housing needs and asked if we had considered buying; we had not. She was knowledgeable in the numbers associated with renting vs buying and asked us to be open-minded as she worked through some options for us. After seeing bad rentals that were over our housing allowance we were willing to look at other options. We had no appointment and were leaving town that next morning. We hadn't even decided what AREA we wanted to be in! We needed attention right that minute and Ms. Holt didn't hesitate. She patiently listened to our needs and readily provided financial information based on the current market to show us that buying absolutely could be a sound solution for us. Her calm and kind demeaner paired with the promise to work beside us throughout the entire process gave us the confidence to actually consider buying as an option. She pulled 2 completely different properties she thought fit our criteria to get a better sense of what we were looking for. She offered to continue our search FOR US while we returned to our current duty station to prepare for our move. Ms. Holt said she would do video tours of potential properties and have facetime discussions over the next few weeks to help us in every way that she could.We left immediately to look at the 2 properties she pulled and both were a good fit for us. We actually put in an offer on one that very evening. Because of our short timeline we needed a quick close and over the next couple of weeks Jennifer did her part to ensure the process was smooth; setting appointments for us to finalize the sales process etc. Her confidence in the area, the market over-all and her understanding of the financial requirements needed made her the perfect fit for us and I know she can help you too!We are now settling into a beautiful home in a growing, thriving community near the best schools in the area with promise of a nice return when we are ready to pass it on to another family. Because of Ms. Holt, the buying process was hassle free and we now pay $600 less for a Mortgage/Insurance than what others wanted to charge us to just RENT. That's $600 that can now go towards utilities and other living expenses. It just made financial sense for us.
