First of all, we needed to do a lot of work to get my property ready to sell, and she had excellent resources and contacts and was instrumental in coordinating. If I were on my own, I would have wanted to vet each contractor, check references, get quotes, etc., that would have been time-consuming and nerve-wracking, and her contacts were excellent. Janna did extensive research to understand this particular market, and she stayed in touch with me practically daily with updates. THEN, when we were under contract, and the buyer wanted concessions, Janna (again) had contacts who immediately helped us understand what might be possible and what it might cost. Honestly, I also would have been really pleased with her if she were representing the buyer - just so honest and responsive. I was dreading this process, and Janna made it painless. The first day people were allowed to come, a couple, who weren't really looking to buy, saw the listing and wanted to see it for themselves. Before you know it, they explained to Janna they didn't have a realtor but wanted the house full price. Janna worked her magic and wrote the contract for them. The next day a realtor showed up and virtually showed the house to his buyers from Texas. They also wanted the house, so they wrote up a backup offer. I know it was the way the house was showcased in the listing that there was so much interest. We are so glad we didn't have to go through a long showing period. Everything was so easy. Janna was so professional and kept us advised every step of the way. We never had questions because she was always two steps ahead of us. Another house in that neighborhood went for sale the same day ours did and that house has, to date, been on the market 64 days. Too bad they didn't have Janna. I can't praise her enough. I know I have written a novel but it is so deserving. We had the best realtor and have made a friend in the process.

Selling a home while negotiating a job offer in a different state, finding schools for the kids, and coordinating with the movers is probably not something I would want to do again. However, this all worked out for our family in large part due to how good Janna is at what she does. We have sold a few homes in the past and had always been pleased, but Janna set a new standard that I'm afraid will just never be matched. She had the best advice on pricing and strategy for listing. She works with the best photographer and cleaners. She has all the right connections for all the things we needed like junk removal and garage door repair, etc. I only wish she was licensed in NC where we now need to buy a home.
