When we arrived in Charlottesville, we were overwhelmed by the largess of our move, new jobs, and the need to acclimate to an unfamiliar place. As we settled into our short-term apartment and considered where to settle in the region, we had the great fortune of connecting with Jamie. After the first few walkthroughs of potential family homes, Jamie quickly came to understand what we were looking for in our next home. He never pressured us to buy anything that didn't feel like a perfect match. In fact, there were a couple of places we tried to talk ourselves into, and he gave us all the reasons not to. He also immediately began scouring existing and pocket listings to find all of those things in a house. Ultimately, he found the perfect place. It was so perfect that the sellers had multiple offers, and Jamie guided us through that with professional aplomb and candid conversations. That place is now our home, and we get the keys tomorrow after a brief leaseback period that gave the sellers the flexibility they needed to complete their cross-country move. In the intervening time since closing, Jamie has helped us find specialists to help us with painting, floors, etc. and has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our requests. He has kept constant contact with us, the sellers, and ensured a smooth transition, and we feel completely seen, heard and supported.
