Gary is the ultimate professional and always took time to take our calls and addressed our concerns as we toured multiple homes. He was extremely accommodating working with our busy schedules, often meeting us well after hours during the week. We never felt rushed to make a purchase or felt any pressure at all. When we asked for advice, we got it. Honest feedback is not something you see a lot of these days. When we toured a few homes that were not a good fit he did not waste our time and we moved on. When writing offers he guided us through them holding our hands the entire way. When bidding wars occurred, he provided sound advice and told us when to walk. Eventually we came upon our dream house and put Gary to work. He fought for us every step of the way during the negotiation and inspection process. These are things I typically handle but Gary took if off my plate and did a wonderful job. The seller's realtor would push back yet Gary stood firm and at the end of the day we now live in our dream home. His assistant Alaina also went above and beyond. If Gary was showing a home or doing an open house, she was always there for us. One of their best assets is open communication. Alaina was a master at keeping everyone on task and lining up things that had to be done. I am a very hard person to please and have nothing but amazing things to say about Gary and Alaina. After the home was purchased, they both stayed in touch. I needed a few things fixed around the home and they both put us in touch with recommended contractors, who have all been nothing short of amazing. Most realtors get paid and walk away, not Gary and Alaina. They still check in to this day, which says a lot about their character and core values as good people. My kids see Gary out and about and still run up to him for a hug. Being the man he is, he always takes time to talk to them and ask about school and sports. The Realtor that I noticed over the Years who was Successfully Selling Homes in ALL Economic conditions in our Neighborhood was...Gary Potts. I had sporadic phone conversations with Gary, discussing selling our home prior to listing with him. I found Gary, to be very expeditious in terms of getting back to me promptly, when I had questions, EVEN though we had not officially contracted with him. The time came, we listed with Gary...And I easily can recommend Gary, without Hesitation. Gary, sold our home, in a very tough Economic situation with Mortgage rates at an all time high. Yes, we had to make concessions, if we wanted to make everything happen. But, I felt that Gary, looked out for our interests, with the Buyer's Agent, and treated us like an extremely valued Client, Protecting Us and Negotiating things with the Buyer's Agent with Consummate Professionalism and Favorable results as it related to our Selling our Home. Lastly, Gary's Assistant, Alaina, is Top Notch!. Stellar Interpersonal Skills and Promptly getting back to us...Superb Communication. ZillowVERIFIED The first person that came to look at our home did not have an agent, so Gary offered to be her agent as well, which resulted in him representing both the buyer and the seller and receiving twice the commission from the sale. In retrospect, I am not confident that Gary did not discourage other potential buyers that looked at our home from making an offer before this buyers deadline so that he could receive the double commission. Gary talks way too much and does not listen. He disregarded our instructions to not take the potential buyer into our home until after closing. Not only did he take her into the home against our wishes, but told us that he did after the fact. This made me question his ethics and heightened my level of distrust for him. I feel strongly that Gary did not represent us, the sellers, well. He quickly became sympathetic to the buyer, which did not suit us, as the sellers, well. To our detriment, closing was delayed by almost two months, despite the fact that the buyer's original and only offer (because Gary refused to advocate for us) was for us to move out right away, which we did. The buyer ended up not being able to come up with all of the funds, which resulted in us losing more than $100 per day while the house was vacant. We ultimately requested the listing be updated to aEURoesale pending, accepting backup offersaEUR? which prompted Gary to agree to reduce his commissions slightly rather than update the listing. Selling a home is stressful. I my opinion, having Gary as our realtor made it even more so. I would not recommend Gary Potts as a trustworthy and competent real estate agent.

I tried working with other realtors to get my moms home in order to sell, however, some of the referrals were to unlicensed contractors.
