Community Involvement

Erin loves being involved in her community. She's a passionate advocate for children with type 1 diabetes, serving on the board of directors for JDRF, as well as being the local chapter's Government Advocacy Team Chair and a walk team captain for 16 years. Erin is also a big supporter of local animal rescue organizations as well as Horizon West area community events.

HOBBIES/INTEREST

Erin loves long distance running, gardening, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family, including her sweet dogs.

FAMILY

Erin grew up in the midwest, where she still loves to go visit family. Although she loves and appreciates that midwestern lifestyle, she was ready to kiss those cold winters goodbye after college graduation. Erin is thankful to have raised her family right here in the Horizon West area of Central Florida, filling time enjoying the theme parks, beaches, lakes, and everything The City Beautiful has to offer. She loves spending time with her family and sweet dogs.

Does a bedroom have to have a closet to be a bedroom?

Does the home seller need to disclose water issues?

Yes, the seller in Florida should always disclose any water damage, leaks, or flood issues. However, you shouldn't rely on their disclosure alone. It could be a situation of a vacant property, or new leak of which the current owner isn't aware, or it could be an investment property where the renters haven't told the owner about problems. Regardless of the situation, you should always have a thorough home inspection done. It's worth every penny. Check with your realtor for recommendations on reputable inspectors in the area. It could save you a ton of money and offer peace of mind.
