Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

First impressions sell homes. Start by decluttering, deep cleaning, and completing small repairs to make your home shine in photos and showings. Price it strategically—buyers shop by comparison, so even a small pricing mistake can cost you time and money. Partner with an experienced local agent who understands your market, uses professional photography, and executes a strong digital marketing plan to maximize visibility. Be flexible with showings, stay open to feedback, and remember that preparation and presentation are what turn “for sale” into “sold.”

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients — from first-time homebuyers and relocating families to luxury homeowners, seasoned investors and military. Many of my clients are moving to the Augusta, GA and North Augusta/Aiken, SC areas for work with Fort Gordon, the medical community, or local industries. I also help sellers maximize value through strategic pricing and high-impact marketing. Whether it’s a starter home, a move-up purchase, or a custom new build, I tailor my approach to each client’s goals and make the process as seamless as possible.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

One of my favorite recent transactions was helping a family relocate from out of state to the Augusta area. They were buying sight unseen, so I handled virtual showings, coordinated inspections, and kept communication constant to make sure they felt confident every step of the way. We found them the perfect home in Evans that checked every box — great schools, a strong neighborhood, and room to grow. Seeing their excitement on closing day made every detail worth it. It was a reminder that real estate is about people first, not just property.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Real estate has always been a natural fit for me. I’ve always had a passion for helping people make confident financial and lifestyle decisions, and after years of following the local market, I decided to turn that passion into a career. I joined Blanchard & Calhoun Real Estate in Augusta, where I built my business around relationships, market knowledge, and results. What started as a love for homes quickly became a calling to guide clients through one of life’s biggest milestones — buying or selling their own.

Yes — I’m a licensed REALTOR® in both Georgia and South Carolina with Blanchard & Calhoun Real Estate, and I invest heavily in continued education and marketing strategy training. I’ve completed advanced coursework in pricing strategy, negotiation, Military relocation and digital marketing to help my clients gain a competitive edge in any market. Emily is wonderful. She helped us purchase a home prior to our move to Georgia. We could only see homes one weekend prior to our move. She listened to what we were looking for and showed us homes that fit. We put in an offer and got accepted that same weekend! The transaction went so great and she was always willing to help in any way. So, when our move out of Ga happened we rented out the home and when it came time to sell, it was a no brainer. We called Emily right away. Within A month she had it photographed, listed and it went under contract. We couldn't have asked for anything better as we were carrying 2 mortgages and some homes were sitting for more than 3 months. She also went out of the country during this time and still got stuff done!! No question about it, I would definitely recommend her for any Real Estate needs!! She rocks...
