We had agreed to stop looking when my wife received a notification from Zillow that a new house had just been listed. We discussed the matter and decided to view the home. Zillow assigned us to a realtor by the name of Ed Burrow. Ed was very meticulous at showing us every nook and cranny of the home. We discussed the matter and decided to buy the home. Ed put us in touch with Mary Groome from Arbor Home Loans who he highly recommends as a loan officer on Thursday. That same day we received a phone call from Mary concerning what was going to be needed for arranging the financing. On Friday we received notification that we had a pre-approval letter and an estimate for the closing costs. On Saturday we were notified that we had a ratified contract. Over the next couple of weeks, we were in constant contact with Mary and her team submitting all the required documents and supporting evidence required to process the loan. The following Friday we went to closing and on the 16th of August and we moved into our new home. Once our old home was listed on the market, within 48 hours we secured a ratified contract. The smooth transition of selling our previous home and moving to a new home was phenomenal! Between Ed?s expertise and Mary?s knowledge we were happy and impressed with the entire process. Having purchased and sold homes in the past, I have never had a smoother, less stressful process during the transactions.
