From the moment we met Ed, we knew we were in the right hands. Ed made the experience seamless and he was extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns. He went above and beyond his area of responsibility and got answers for us even before we asked the question. You tend to trust your gut when going through the purchase of a new home and we had a good gut feeling about Ed from day one and that feeling continued throughout the entire process. When it came time to place my mothers home on the market, I contacted Ed to handle the sale. As my mother is now living in an assisted living facility, we explained to Ed what minimum net sale was required to keep my mother in the assisted living facility. Ed did a lot of in-depth research on sales in the area and came up with a proposal that would satisfy our needs, keep mama comfortable and not overprice the home. We had an offer within 3 days. After the prospective buyers had the home inspection done, there were items that needed to be corrected on the home which was over 60 years old. Upon notification of the items that needed to be corrected, Ed started contacting the various contractors and spear headed the correction of all the deficient items. There was no questioning if we wanted to handle the deficiencies or not. Ed just took it upon himself to ensure that all deficiencies were corrected and documented for the new buyers. Closing went very smoothly for our part of the closing. However, closing for the buyers hit a few snags and once again, Ed worked with the buyers closing agents and expedited the closing for the new buyers. I have purchased and sold homes in the past, but have never had a smoother, less stressful process during the transactions. Ed was there from the beginning to the end of the process and ensured that things were taken care of in a very professional, proactive and timely manner. He was always one step ahead of the process and ensured we were aware of all requirements and transactions prior to them happening. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ed for it would take up more space than I am allowed on this review. All I can say is, if you need to sell or purchase a home, Ed is the person you need on your side. His vast knowledge of the housing market and professional guidance ensured we had a smooth sale. Ed was very responsive and kind, he helped us find out new home and he did a great job helping stay in our price range, he also explained everything really well from the process of buying our first home to giving tips on how to maintain the home.
