Within a couple minutes of our inquiry on the site, while we were still looking at her profile and feeling drawn to hers over the other options, she called us. She worked around our schedule because at the time my husband and I were both Active duty. She showed us a total of 3 houses and the third house we looked at was the one for us! She was able to find a home on almost an acre lot (0.97 of an acre) and it was close to the Naval base (approximately 7 minutes)! She was respectful of our budget. ZillowVERIFIED I usually don't leave reviews absent of praise. A I've tried to work with Mrs. Woolard's affiliates for months to make things right and avoid the need to leave this honest review. A My husband and I chose Debbie to represent us because she has the title aEURoeRealtoraEUR? and at some point agreed to the Realtor's Code of Ethics. A My husband was working overtime and I was on bedrest and not feeling well during most of our home buying process. Under better circumstances we would have done better research on our own. A Article 2 of the Realtor's Code of Ethics states "REALTORSA(R) [should] refrain from exaggeration, misrepresentation, or concealment of pertinent facts related to property or transactions." A Unfortunately, Debbies actions didnt align with these articles, especially when she told us that an undisclosed Home Warranty company, that she referred us to, would replace our HVAC unit A if it ever broke down.aEUR? Her involuntary A mistakes are costing us time, money and resources that exceeded our expectations. A As first time home buyers we valued her input and trusted that she wouldn't mislead us or take advantage of our ignorance. A We even trusted her referrals and years of experience. A Mrs. Woolard advised us to get a warranty with an undisclosed Home Warranty company. A When our HVAC, ironically, did break down, her referred Home Warranty company refused to replace the unit and claimed a price cap which was not mentioned in any of the agreements that we signed or agreed to with this Home Warranty provider. A So far Mrs. Woolard has not agreed to any arrangement A to correct this mistake. A We were extremely rushed regarding this home buying process. A We expressed wanting to be in our first home as soon as possible, but not at the expense of receiving the best guidance throughout this process. A Initially, she referred us to a Mortgage company. A We were offered a high interest rate, but Mrs. Woolard insisted that we wouldn't likely find a better rate. A We went to our bank and she informed us that our credit union was known to move slowly with providing funds. A We were willing to wait for a better rate. A Our credit union gave us a much better rate than her suggested Mortgage provider and the wait was truly worth pushing the closing date back. A A Debbie Woolard referred us to an inspector and we hired him. A Pushing the closing date worked for us and it could have worked better if we would have pushed it back further. A We were able to get the seller to replace some of the rotting wood but they didn't replace all of it. A We told Mrs. Woolard that we wanted to get the inspector to come back to make sure that the work was done properly, but she told us that we wouldn't be able to book the inspector before the closing date, that she rescheduled. A If we would have pushed the closing date back, we would have discovered that the seller did not replace all of the rotting wood and the back door that they had installed was the wrong size, which allowed more water to enter. A The seller agreed to give us $1500.00 to install waterproof vinyl on the floors but we later discovered that the issue causing the water damage was the dilapidated back door and windows and the rotting wood indicated a need for replacement. A We still have to replace the entire back door area due to rotting wood and water damage. A A There is even more water damage in the kitchen under the sink. A We should have negotiated better agreements with the seller.A Mrs. Woolard also suggested that I assign Power of Attorney to my husband and made sure that these documents were provided to us, so my husband could sign the closing documents on my behalf if I was in labor on the closing date. The suggestion to complete this document seemed inconsiderate given our joint intentions and contributed to us feeling rushed.A Mrs. Woolard includes negotiator in her title. A She could have suggested better negotiations and we didnt have the knowledge, at the time, to negotiate these terms on our own so we trusted her guidance. A Our experience with Mrs. Woolard was very transactional and we were left to sort through the results of a rushed and ill informed purchase.

We had to do everything long distance which I was very worried about but she made it the easiest process. Our house sold quickly with all her recommendations which was exactly what we needed. We did not have to talk or correspond with any Real Estate Assistant or Associate. In fact, we did not meet or see anybody else who worked with her. We dealt with Debbie directly all the time. She was always available to us, even at short notice.Debbie was always very courteous and accommodating. She adjusted her plans quickly to suit our schedule. She made it a point to be personally present at all Showings. At no point, during the home buying process, did we feel that she was trying to sell us anything or push something on us. She was always very gracious to give us the time and space to make our decisions without making us feel rushed or pressured into making decisions. When we finally made an offer on a house, she meticulously kept track of all the details before Closing. She kept reminding us of what was due when. She made sure that we did not drop the ball before or during Closing.Other professionals that were referred to us by Debbie, for things like Home Inspections, Financing, Termite Inspections and Closing, were all just as professional as her. She had done a good job of vetting them, which was one less concern for us.We would definitely recommend Debbie to all our friends and associates.
