ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Ryan Nicholas at the Damon Sells Homes Team for the purchase of our home in Alexandria, VA recently. This process took almost a year from our first meeting with Ryan until we finally had an offer accepted. Ryan was always very patient with us and made time any time we wanted to meet or have a call. He is an expert on Northern Virginia neighborhoods and also very savvy when it comes to the bidding/negotiating process. Our purchase was tricky because we also had to sell a house at the same time, and Ryan navigated all the complexities like a pro. In the end we were able to get our dream home in the perfect area for us, and without Ryan I'm sure that wouldn't have happened. I'd recommend Ryan and his team to anyone!

It depends on your local county building codes. In my area, most people THINK you need a closet, but one is NOT required for a room to be a bedroom. In my county, the room has to be a minimum of 70 square feet, have egress back to the main part of the house (without having to go through another bedroom) and outside (if a window, the window has to be at least 5.7 sqft and no more than 44" off the ground). No closet requirement.
