We also needed an unconventional mortgage and the process to get cleared to close was long and onerous. Maria stuck with us through thick and thin. She went to the mat for us more than once interceding with the mortgage broker, working closely to keep the Seller and Seller's agent in the loop and negotiating with them at every turn when delays pushed our closing date back several weeks.She worked tirelessly for us through a time of her own personal loss and was unfailingly kind to us when we experienced the loss of one of our own family members as well.She is a gem. I came to her ~5 years ago seeking help purchasing an investment property in mid-town Savannah, and she found an incredible property for me. At first I had trouble seeing the vision as it was pretty rough around the edges initially, but she helped me recognize the opportunity, and with minimal investment I purchased the property, renovated it and had my pick of tenets within a week of listing the property for rent. Not only was it in a high demand area where value was steadily rising, but it was DUAL INCOME! I was making nearly double the mortgage payment every month! I thought I'd never sell it. However, my career took me away from Savannah this year and my wife and I decided the time was right to sell the property to roll the earnings into a new home for our growing family. Again I went straight to Chelsea. Not only did she recommend we price the house for significantly higher than I hoped, but she prepped and marketed it incredibly well and we accepted an offer at our asking price within the FIRST WEEK of listing! On top of all this, I had already moved out of town prior to kicking off the process to get the house on the market, and Chelsea and her team were nothing short of AMAZING in helping me get the property ready for sale, coordinating with tenets, trouble shooting issues (incredibly quickly and cost effectively I might add), negotiating and in general making it happen! I can't stress enough how impressive the level of service and expertise was. It blows my mind we were able to get more than we hoped so quickly and painlessly, particularly while not in town to contribute. I will be hard pressed to find a more profitable investment in this lifetime. Chelsea is incredibly knowledgeable in the Savannah area and real estate in general, and her team is fantastic.
