When it was time to sell our house in Vienna I interviewed several realtors to understand market value, marketing efforts and their knowledge of the Vienna specific market. Casey and Kelly were extremely well prepared for our discussion with market figures and specific knowledge of how to market MY home. I was impressed---but the proof would be in the sale!They, Kelly and Casey, sold my house in the first weekend for the price they told me it was worth. The real value came as Kelly handled all the issues from contract to close. She did a magnificent job. The Casey Samson team was quite impressive from our fist meeting through the final signing.

We weren't really impressed with Casey and the team for the following reasons: --First of all he did a "switch & bait" where he periodically parachuted in while the family did the vast majority of the work. He made a couple of cameo appearances and we never heard from him again after the price negotiations --Secondly, Samson applies a high volume "cookie cutter" approach to all resales (older homes) by repainting them with the same 3 shades of gray and buying cheap fixtures from Wayfair. --Thirdly, I felt we went down-market with Samson. They don't seem to apply a tailored, high touch, sophisticated approach to selling homes. --Lastly, in summary it wasn't a good customer experience. We would not recommend Samson to our friends & family in our price range (greater than $1million). However, I would recommend Samson to sellers in the lower price range--higher volume market.

ZillowVERIFIED I am so thankful that I worked with Colby to sell my condo. He made the process so much smoother than it would have been otherwise. He proposed a sales strategy, which we implemented starting from home renovation, putting my belongings in storage and moving out, staging, open house, selecting the right buyer and negotiating the contract. From the time I met Colby to the time I sold the condo, it was two months. We had multiple bids within 24 hours of the open house, and a contract within 48 hours. The close was two weeks later. His focus is to give back to the community, whether to help the children or the adults. I say this from personal experience. Casey spent an inordinate amount of time with my son in local area sports. And not just my son but other sons of community families. And he excelled, just as he has in real estate. On multiple occasions Casey has won a national football championship for early teens. And he carries this professionalism to his career. To be a really good real estate professional you must have the basics to include competence, education, professionalism, knowledge and commitment. Casey has the basics. But he has more. Let's not get into his fee which is less than any other RE professional. Let's stay with the characteristics: trust, follow-through, understanding, and most important, the ability to look at a challenge from multiple sides to clearly understand all perspectives. This is the Casey Samson I know. This is the Casey Samson that sold my home in 10 days at very close to the asking price.Would I recommend Casey Samson? You bet I would. And I would go one step further. I would recommend those fortunate enough to know Casey Samson to spend time with him. Heck, to even work for him. Get to know the basics through Casey. Various property tax allocation issues were encountered due to the closing company allocating the taxes in an inequitable manner. This resulted in Casey reaching out to attorneys and the Northern Virginia Board of Realtors to ultimately have the matter solved in our favor, saving us the heartache of settling the matter through arbitration and incurring legal fees, etc. We were very happy with his services and not sure another realtor would have done the necessary legwork in having this tax issue resolved. This man has amazing enthusiasm, is organized and knows what is needed to sell a home. He knows how to handle any drama along the way (selling a home can become very personal) and conducts business in the utmost professional manner on all sides of the coin. He knew the market very well and had a great attitude considering we handed him a house that had been on the market for 185 days!!!! Despite this fact, his attitude and spirit were refreshingly positive from day one.
