We were exhausted and ready to give up. Then we found Casey. Within a week of hiring her, we were under contract on a new build. We were very impressed and so relieved! Fast forward to this year, when my father passed away and I needed to sell his home, Casey was the only person I called. I told her I wanted to close by mid-March. My husband and I stopped by a random open house one weekend without her, and ended up wanting to make an offer on the house within a day or two due to a tight deadline. When we told Casey, she made sure to go to the house herself and do a walkthrough right away to see if there was anything about the house we would want to be aware of before making an offer. Long answer: This was our first home purchase ever so we knew we wanted someone really knowledgeable. We needed someone who could help us navigate all the legal, financial and emotional components that come with buying a home. We spent time shopping around to find a realtor that could do all of that and Casey stood out right away. After talking to her, she sent an email with a short little video so I would have a face to put to the name. Those sweet little details continued the entire time we worked with her. She spent several weekends driving all over Raleigh and surrounding areas to help us find the house we wanted. She was very responsive throughout the process. She is incredibly intuitive and has a wealth of knowledge. We looked at new construction, older houses, and everything in between. She didn't miss a beat. She dealt with new construction sales agents easily, and talked to us about how to navigate the issues that come with an older home. She educated us on the home buying process and encouraged us to make pro-con lists when we werent sure. Casey helped us find two houses we loved. The first one we got into a bidding competition with someone else, and Caseys professional advice helped us decide to keep our offer in our budget. We were outbid on the first house. Casey was so sympathetic and helped us find our footing again. She took us around to several other places and then we found the second house, our home. It was still in the same neighborhood as the first house, but much less expensive. Casey helped us get a really great deal on our home. The fact that I wasn't able to make frequent trips to tour homes, coupled with the very competitive housing market could have made for a difficult and extremely stressful process, but Casey made certain that was not to be the case. Becoming my eyes and ears in Raleigh, she created a personalized alert system that notified me daily of new properties to consider, thereby filtering my search in a way that was streamlined and informative. Calls, texts, and emails were always answered promptly.
