Carrie S is an exceptional realtor! She has the intelligence, market knowledge, customer focus, dedication and commitment that makes her exceptional at her job, which for me, was to sell our home. Selling a 35 year old home, which had largely been a rental and showed its age, was a challenge. Since we were out of state, this needed a team approach and Carrie was an essential and invaluable onsite member of the team. Carrie helped us accomplish extensive home repairs and bring the home to market. She provided analysis and thoughtful recommendations on what to do and not to do to make the home marketable and achieve a timely sale. She was always willing to help and went the extra mile providing onsite monitoring and, when needed, coordination of repair/renovation contractors. Throughout the process, Carrie provided knowledgeable thoughtful advice and fact-based recommendations for decisions on home repair, market pricing and contract negotiations. If we could give 10 stars, we would! Carrie is simply awesome and amazing. We met Carrie at an open house for a home she was selling. Although the home wasn't quite right for us, we immediately connected with Carrie. We were completely new to NOVA but she made us feel like we had a long-time friend, really listening to our needs and giving us great advice. A couple of weeks later, we hired her as our realtor. In some cosmic twist of fate, we ended up buying the first house we looked at with Carrie. It was a foreclosure, so it wasn't your standard real estate deal. This is where Carrie really shined. The selling agent wasn't particularly assertive about handling owner repairs, etc. so Carrie stepped in and kept things on track. We communicated with Carrie multiple times each day until closing, and we knew that she was always on top of things, advocating for our interests. At closing, she even surprised us with some treats and goodies, even though we felt like we should have been surprising her with treats and goodies for all of her hard work! The best thing is, we feel like we have a friend for life. We can't wait to have her over to our new house and talk about everything under the sun besides real estate. Carrie was fantastic to work with when we sold our home of 24 years and purchased new construction. She really knows the local market well, and Carrie gave us fantastic advice on what we should do to prepare our old home for sale at the price we wanted and what to expect when dealing with our new home construction company. Carrie has a fantastic team that gave us additional support whenever we needed it, including a great staging consultant who helped us make good choices for fresh paint and carpet and worked with us to create a punch list of repairs for our old home that fit our budget. Carrie also has network of skilled tradesmen to refer, and the ones we used did fantastic work. Carrie's network of lending agents also gave us great quotes for multiple options to finance the purchase of our new home and were incredibly helpful at helping us understand the incentives the builder's lender was offering. Carrie was always easy to reach and happy to answer any questions we had throughout the process. Thanks to Carrie, we had multiple offers above the asking price within days of listing our old home and are very happy in our new home.

I have moved 16 times in the military and have bought, lived in, and sold 4 homes. I listed my house For Sale by Owner and Carrie contacted me offering to sell my home.
