ZillowVERIFIED Carii and Tom helped us through the emotional process of listing our home and selling it. Both are very genuine and it becomes quickly obvious that they love what they do. Our experience with them was so very different from experiences with other realtors - starting with the first question "What do YOU need from a realtor?" As a team they have done so much more for us in the process compared to what other agents were prepared to do. The pricing strategy did not include the obligatory "Here are 2 pages of comps, why don't you look through them and call me back." It was obvious Carii had done her homework on comps, but our pricing was established in discussion. We priced aggressively on the higher end. She guided us along the way, knowing the market and current climate, but made it very clear it was our decision to make. We could tell that Carii made it her mission and personal challenge to sell our house at that price. It is refreshing that Carii and Tom are very 'hands on' - in terms of opinions about staging, actually bringing in items to stage the house, helping with last minute fixes and touches, thinking about which photos will present the home in the best possible light and show off all of its assets. The pictures and listing description turned out great!There was a lot of activity right away and we got a glimpse of Carii's marketing and negotiating skills. She observes people and situations very carefully and reacts and communicates quickly, appropriately and accordingly. We all understood that the first few days on the market are a crucial time to sell a house at full price. Carii created a sense of urgency with interested parties, always informed us every step of the way and followed up on every lead. An open house was held 2 days after listing. Once we entered the stage to entertain offers, both Carii and Tom explained what was on the table for us very carefully and completely. We're happy to report we sold our home full price 4 days after listing it! Both Carii and Tom have an incredible amount of positive energy and attitude, refreshing 'can do' attitude, sense of humor and great communication skills. After about 2 days of dealing with them you feel like they are friends, all while having no doubt that professionally they have your best interest at heart. Even if you don't have a million dollar home to sell - with this team you are sure to receive the million dollar treatment! First, she convinced the seller of my dream home to accept an offer contingent on the sale of my existing home. Throughout the transaction she kept the sellers agent updated so that they did not further actively shop the property. Because of her through knowledge of the local market, she accurately predicted the timing, pricing, and type of buyer who would be interested in my architecturally significant house and uniquely landscaped property. She recommended and supervised repairs and upgrades that were necessary to sell the house in a timely manner to meet the sale contingency time line.
