She was up front from the beginning about what the process would be like and explained different paperwork that I would see and what my rights were as a buyer. Ariana showed sensitivity to my current position in life when helping me search for homes. She made sure to point out locations that she thought might be concerns, safety-wise, while also pointing out good neighborhoods or places that would be dog-friendly. Ariana was helpful in evaluating the shape a condo was in, identifying what might need some work sooner or later. Once I chose the home I wanted to make an offer on, there was not much to negotiate on, but Ariana still identified some things she felt would benefit me to ask for. Throughout the process, she was easily available when needed. Ariana was great in all of these ways despite my budget being on the lower end - it was not an issue with her at all.

ZillowVERIFIEDDO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE BUYING or SELLING. Stop whoever you're talking to and call Ariana, she is so much more then an agent. Back in 2010 I contacted her for assistance in finding a home in VA. Since I was moving cross country I didn't know the DC metro area at all and relied heavily on her advice. Immediately Ari did what most won't do... she spent time getting to know me, listened to my needs and after spending a couple days looking, I purchased the first place she had showed me.She listened to my off handed comments about leaving the beaches of California and found me a wonderful town home on one of the most prestigious lakes in the area. I had no idea how lucky I was (especially at the price I paid, which she negotiated) until much later when I told people where I lived. NOW, fast forward to 2013... business was taking me away from the DC area and I needed to sell. I'd renovated my townhome and was in fear of losing what I put into the upgrades. So, I got listing advise from several popular realtors in the area (my neighbors had recommended) and then I called Ariana. She strongly disagreed with the others and set the listing price $100K higher. In the end, she actually got me within 20% of the offer price and found a buyer from the very first open house which closed within 60 days. She fought to get me my price when I would have given in. Let me tell you,,, Ari has a huge heart, is smart as hell and an incredible negotiator!!! Believe me when I say she won't let you down and is one of the most honest business people I've had the pleasure working with. In the past 5 years I've bought and sold 4 homes and wished like He-ll she could have represented me on all of them! Unfortunately she's only licensed in VA.

ZillowVERIFIEDWe have worked with many realtors over the years (we have bought and sold 4 houses), but Ariana Gillette among the most memorable, pleasant, energetic, and --- most importantly --- effective.We met Ariana in 2010 when we were were moving to VA and looking for a house. After a few days of looking it was clear that we needed a rental, not a purchase. Most realtors would just stop there, but Ariana very graciously took us to several rentals and helped us work through our rental agreement.Two years later, we telephoned Ariana and said we were ready to buy a house. She gave us her full attention. She helped us navigate the various online real estate listing services. Then we saw a property we wanted; she got us in the door before the first open house, and we were able to immediately make an offer. We were new to the VA home buying market, which is very different from our experiences in MA. Ariana worked with us to create an offer that was acceptable to the buyer (there were several other buyers competing for the same property, as there is not a lot of inventory available in Arlington at the moment). We were fortunate and our offer was accepted. After the accepted offer, Ariana was diligent in continuing to work with us --- on the various inspections, with the mortgage broker (Intercoastal Mortgage, with which she has a longstanding professional relationship). We were hesitant about working with a mortgage company (we typically work with a community bank), but the agent Ariana put us in touch with was a real pleasure to work with and the deal went through without a hitch (although it was done a bit too last-minute for my comfort). Overall, we are very pleased with the service that Ariana provided and highly recommend her to others.

Also, she was always prepared with all the available information and locations pre programmed in her GPS. I found a perfect home in Ashburn in under 2 weeks! Once negotiations began she successfully brought down the price by a considerable amount and was even able to have the seller put in hard wood floors to address an allergy concern for my 4 yr old son. At the closing table she represented me very professionally making the usually stressful experience very enjoyable. Overall I would say that as long as Ariana is in Real Estate I will not need another Agent in my lifetime.
