Andrea Holt

Andrea Holt moved with her family from Northern Virginia to the Middle Peninsula, 24 years ago in 1996. She and her husband purchased a marina in Deltaville, and in spite of being suburbanites all their lives, they sold their home and headed to the country. Since then Andrea has held positions as an advertising sales rep for tourism publications in eastern Virginia and North Carolina, as a manufactured and modular home salesperson for Clayton Homes in Tappahannock, and as a new home consultant in an active adult community in Williamsburg. It was her time spent selling modular homes that ignited a love for seeing families realize their dream of home ownership. In working with sellers, Andrea especially draws on the years she spent in advertising. She understands the market and knows that the buyers who will ultimately purchase her listings are sometimes local, yet many times they are from Richmond, Northern Virginia, or further north. Andrea believes that a good part of her duty in representing her clients starts with a broad overview of the area and the nuances that come with living in the country and on the water. She spends time introducing her clients to their areas of interest so that they can understand the topography, proximity to towns, and the various bodies of water. She says it's an area that is easy to love - rich in history and unexpectedly remote for an area tucked between several metropolises. Andrea describes herself as having the soul of a conservationist and is passionate about the Bay, rivers and creeks in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. Andrea has been with IsaBell K. Horsley Real Estate since November 2013. In her spare time Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and hanging out with her two dogs, three cats, and seven chickens.
