I work with Section 8 tenants and landlords regularly through our property management division. Happy to help you understand the process, from getting your unit inspection-ready to navigating the housing authority paperwork. That said, co-ops can be tricky with Section 8. Most co-op boards have their own approval process for tenants and subletting, and some don't allow Section 8 vouchers at all. You'll want to check your co-op's bylaws and subletting policy first. If your co-op allows it, I can walk you through the steps to get your unit listed and leased to a qualified voucher holder. Feel free to reach out anytime.
