If your kitchen cabinets are good quality but looked dated, have them painted and replace the hardware. New countertops on old cabinetry would be a wasted investment. An inexpensive upgrade would be to replace all bathroom vanities. If you have hardwood floors, remove all carpeting and then have the floors refinished. Good luck! Diane Belcuore RE/MAX WARREN NJ

Absolutely! Have the cabinets painted, replace the hardware. Depending on condition of the countertops and age of appliances, you may want to replace those. You will get a high return on appliance replacement--close to 100%. And all these updates mean the difference between a quick sale and not. Good luck! Diane Belcuore RE/MAX PREMIER Warren NJ

Yes remove the carpets and replace with hardwood or LVP. You will get 100% return on investment. Remove carpeting from first floor and have the hardwood refinished to match the color used upstairs. Good luck!

Powerwashing is best. Cut back or remove any overgrown landscaping--foundation plants and trees, especially if they are too close to the house. You dont want to block the windows or have tree roots encroaching on the foundation.
