This was our journey with Melissa. We wanted to sell our home in Westminster, and purchased a new one in Fullerton (an area that Melissa was very knowledgeable about) for at least five years now. We first met Melissa in 2009, at an Open House in Fullerton, when we first thought about selling our home. She was very pleasant, sincere, and open-minded, unlike other agents we had met. We kept Melissa in mind, until we were ready to sell our home in May of 2014. Melissa might not know, but my husband and I already decided to utilize her services, even before we met for an initial interview in Westminster. Melissa shared her portfolio about our home, her marketing strategies, to stage our home, which we had never experienced before, so our home could appeal to our immediate customers. We didn't want to spend un-neccessary money in fixing up our homes, and she listened and tailored to our needs. She had a great crew working with her, landscaping, handyman, painting, cleaning, and more to make our home looked fresh and new at reasonable costs. When our home was posted on Zillow and other listings, we had 7 interested buyers-with above our asking price-with CASH even before our scheduled Open House Day! Meanwhile, with Melissa's help, we searched for our new home in Fullerton. Her expertise of the area, tailored to our needs, and she drove us around to visit each property. In the end, we thought we found a good home, but we had to back out because of personal reason, and she understood, and helped us got back our deposit without penalty. We wanted to buy a newly built home instead, but didn't think we could do it, but by accepting a CASH Buyer of our old home, our fate had changed! We could buy a new home in the area! So, with Melissa and her husband Simon, a banker, and her Associates, they helped us qualified our loan and locked in the lowest interest rate possible compared to the builder's bank offer. Importantly, we were so happy that we could rent back our old home, for about 3 weeks, while our paperwork finalized for the new home. We would like to give a shout out for Simon, and his Funding Team, especially Marisol, for getting our loan funded within two weeks! Last but not least, we would also like to give a shout out to Melissa and her team, for finalizing our old home, and getting our fully Rent-Back Deposit from our buyer/new homeowner. Melissa also gave us a "gift of mind", a one year membership with Fidelity National Home Warranty. Thank you again for your tiresome and dedicated work. You and your team are so deeply appreciated and remembered, as we moved on to a new chapter of our lives in Fullerton. I have known Melisa for years. I first met her when I was her son's elementary school teacher and remained on friendly terms with her thereafter.
