Matt Polinchak was an amazing resource for me: I knew nothing about the Raleigh aEUR" Durham area. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to advise me on the pros and cons of different neighborhoods. Matt knew me better than I did after only a couple of afternoons of viewing homes. When one of my children saw something that she thought terrific, Matt immediately explained why it wouldnt work for me based on criteria he had observed - in a very short time. My wife and I are first time homebuyers and Matt was a tremendous help. We had a limited budget but wanted to live in Raleigh - less than 10 minutes from downtown, if possible. We expected the search process to be difficult because the market is so hot (and it was certainly competitive.) But Matt made the process a lot easier.He knew the best neighborhoods to look in, so we usually found houses the same day they went on the market. He also had a knack for evaluating the value of homes and whether they were worth pursuing aggressively. This proved crucial. Houses in our price range go on and off the market so quickly that we sometimes had to make decisions about offers within hours.We relied on him heavily and he never let us down. We now live in a cute house in an up-and-coming neighborhood in southern Raleigh, largely because Matt advised us so well during the bidding process. We highly recommend him.
