I would like to preface this review with the fact that Jamie does have many positive reviews, and there is a reason for that. She has obviously some great client/agent experiences. Thats to be commended. However, please realize that not all experiences are rosy. I was moving to the area for a new job, but could not spend much time in Wyoming looking for a house. I had expressed interest in the home I purchased, and Jamie was very quick to respond and eager to get a home sold. I appreciated this attention at first, and felt that I was in good hands. Unfortunately this eagerness on Jamies part also translated into a bad experience in the long run. She spoke highly of, and recommended, a home inspector to look at the house on my behalf as I couldnt spend much time at the house. The home inspector turned out to be incredibly lackluster, reported incomplete information, and incorrect information about the home, but I couldnt verify this information since I was out of state trying to purchase this home. I found this all out after I was able to move into the home. As part of the home purchase process, contingencies were put on the property as part of the sale. When it came time for the final inspection of the home, I could not be there as I was out of state, but Jamie attended on my behalf. Jamie reported that all the contingencies were taken care of. They were not. The biggest contingency was trimming the trees that crowded the house and threatened the integrity of the structure. Upon discussing this, Jamie promised in writing that she would get it taken care of. I trusted this statement. I shouldnt have. For two months I continually requested that Jamie fulfill promises and she stated she was working on it. I believed her. I shouldnt have. The area experienced a large snowstorm the early part of September and unfortunately the trees that were supposed to be taken care of by Jamie all broke, and over two dozen large branches fell on the house causing approximately $10k in damages. Upon informing Jamie of this, she again promised to help out. It has been almost a month, and no fulfillment of any promise, spoken, or written has been fulfilled. Jamie is knowledgeable of the purchasing process, but is too eager to make sales and will promise you the world and make quick recommendations. I believe she does this in order to make quick sales without having the best interest of her clients in mind. The ability to move quick is appreciated, but to do so at the expense of the client is not. Do not trust her promises or recommendations no matter how sincere they seem to be even when they are in writing. They are lackluster, they are wishful, and are simply done to get a quick sale. I would recommend going with a different agent. If you do go with Jamie I would consider getting your own home inspector and not the one she recommends, and I would recommend exercising extreme caution with any promise she gives you regardless of sincerity.
