I have used Zillow to look for several properties in Puerto rico. Miguel Ortiz comes up as the Real Estate Professional for several that I was interested in. However, if you call, you do not reach Miguel. Instead you get someone who I assume is on his staff. But if you give them the location, description of the property, even the Zillow number, they are not able to look it up. For several different properties, I have had to text or email a link for the property before his agents could even find it. Then, for each one of them, it turned out that there were critical errors in the listing information. The map location would be wrong, the size of the property would be wrong, etc. All in all, each contact with this agent was a waste of time. Apparently many of the Zillow listed properties that I have looked at can be listed by many different agents, but someone comes up as the Zillow preferred agent. I do not know how Zillow determines this. But I have learned that Mr. Ortiz listings in particular are likely to be wrong and that if you do call his associates will not be able to assist. Quite frustrating. I believe that I have had 8-10 total calls to speak with people on his staff and left many messages, but I have never actually spoken personally with Mr. Ortiz. I honestly do not know how he ever sells a property.
