ZillowVERIFIEDExceptional Service and Unmatched Professionalism Miguel Ortiz and his team exceeded all expectations in helping my family sell our property to a client with a very specific set of needs. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure the entire process was handled with professionalism, responsibility, and transparency. What truly stood out was their commitment to keeping us informed every step of the way. They were always available to answer our questions, address concerns, and provide guidance, making what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and well-managed. Miguel has assembled a team of top-tier professionals from various fields, all working together to ensure a smooth transaction where all parties walked away satisfied. Their dedication, expertise, and attention to detail were evident at every stage of the sale. My family will always be indebted to Miguel and his team for their hard work, next-level quality service, and unwavering commitment to excellence. If you are looking for a team that truly cares and delivers results, look no further. Highly recommended!

ZillowVERIFIED Multiple attempts to reach him/team via email and phone over two weeks, have resulted in zero responses. Wanted to inquire on two properties they have, and use as a buyer's agent if they didn't hold the listings to other properties we have interest in. We are cash buyers, and are moving BACK to Puerto rico to retire, having lived there before. I don't know how he would expect to sell a house for a client, if he does not return messages. Very unprofessional. If he represented us selling a home and acted in this manor, he would be fired for breach of contract. Really doing his clients a disservice with his unprofessional business conduct.

ZillowVERIFIED I have used Zillow to look for several properties in Puerto rico. Miguel Ortiz comes up as the Real Estate Professional for several that I was interested in. However, if you call, you do not reach Miguel. Instead you get someone who I assume is on his staff. But if you give them the location, description of the property, even the Zillow number, they are not able to look it up. For several different properties, I have had to text or email a link for the property before his agents could even find it. Then, for each one of them, it turned out that there were critical errors in the listing information. The map location would be wrong, the size of the property would be wrong, etc. All in all, each contact with this agent was a waste of time. Apparently many of the Zillow listed properties that I have looked at can be listed by many different agents, but someone comes up as the Zillow preferred agent. I do not know how Zillow determines this. But I have learned that Mr. Ortiz listings in particular are likely to be wrong and that if you do call his associates will not be able to assist. Quite frustrating. I believe that I have had 8-10 total calls to speak with people on his staff and left many messages, but I have never actually spoken personally with Mr. Ortiz. I honestly do not know how he ever sells a property.

ZillowVERIFIED The agent that saw me did not know the area he wasted 3 hours trying to find 2 houses. Would not tell me what houses he was looking for even after I told him I had maps. If I had known what houses he was showing me I could have taken him right to them. I will let them sell me a house.

ZillowVERIFIED We used Miguel to sell our parents home and Miguel did a wonderful job in explaining the local market and how best to sell a house in that market. Having elderly parents and living over 4 hours away on a plane ride is not the best way to sell a home; however with Miguels expertise and advice along the way; we were able to sell our parents home. Miguel is a true professional and we recommend him to anyone that wants to have a pleasant experience in selling a home in Puerto Rico. Thank you Miguel!!!

ZillowVERIFIED I highly Mr. Miguel Ortiz to any first-time home buyer or seasoned investor, the Universal Property team in Puerto Rico under his leadership is the best. As a relatively new investor with five properties purchased and successfully sold, I have found his services to be excellent and exceptionally efficient in all facets of the process. My professional relationship with his company has encompassed all phases from being assisted in purchasing to having his realtors actively showing the properties and qualifying actual buyers. HIs team has made the process both seamless and painless for all parties involved. Mr. Ortiz understands my investment objectives and his team has always delivered. I am grateful for the professional relationship which is destined to last many years. To say that I highly recommend Mr. Miguel Ortiz and Universal Properties is an understatement, as far as I am concerned there is nowhere else to look.
