Kristee helped my brother and I, as executors, sell my mother's home during the pandemic. She came highly recommended and when I interviewed her before signing made it clear that she had the expertise and energy to market this slightly unique property. The house is located in a rural part of the Hill Country but not on the water or part of any development. The house itself is nicer than the surrounding properties, definitely not the easiest sell. We needed someone who was looking for a modern well-appointed house in a definitely rural setting.Kristee advised us on how to make the surrounding properties less visually intrusive without over-investing or making the home feel too isolated. She also helped us figure out the timing of putting the house on the market in the circumstances.Kristee had a fairly constant stream showings, which she reported on a weekly basis, including the potential buyer's reactions. Most were not looking for this degree of undeveloped setting, so there was little we could do to change that, but by getting us on the lists of more buyers, we did find the right fit. Kristee remained patient with the process and intervened with additional marketing if showings seemed to be waning.Her advice during negotiations was spot on, and she didn't take offense when we decided not to heed it in a few instances (she was always on the side of protecting our interests). She stayed with us right through closing, with both guidance and reminders of what we needed to have done when.In short, Kristee Leonard is a polished, experienced and highly knowledgeable professional. Any seller would be fortunate to have her work with them. I suspect the recommendation went both ways and that it helped Kristee decide to offer to take us on as clients. I don't doubt she has plenty of business, although you would never know it based on her availability to us and clear amount of time and effort spent on our behalf.
