Mike came highly recommended by friends of mine who were recent clients of his. They spoke highly of him at the time that they were actively working with them and when I called to ask his name because I was interested in purchasing a home, they again strongly recommended him. I was very glad that I took their advice on this! I could tell from the first home viewing that Mike was trustworthy. I had it in my head when I called him that THIS was the house I was buying period but while viewing it, he very honestly pointed out lots of things that I had not thought of or known to look for. So he probably saved me from a very expensive mistake there. We went a few days later to see a few more houses and I ended up putting in an offer on the second one we saw. Amusingly, at our first meeting he told me that people often buy the second one and rarely buy the first one and at least in my case that was true.We had long negotiations with the seller after that. I probably lost my nerve 5 or 6 times during the process but he totally "got" it and answered every single question and concern I had and kept me on track. I also used most of the other professionals Mike recommended too (inspector, mortgage broker, title company, contractor) and have not regretted one single choice. Everyone he recommended was just as professional, friendly, helpful and competent as he is- not to mention patient with all of my questions. The title company also saved me a great deal of headache by doing a thorough job. A+ all around :)
