I didnt know what type of person I was going to end up with during my search for a new home. I put my info out there and one agent contacted me religiously. He was never pushy or arrogant. He didnt beg for my attention nor did he try to upsell his skill or expertise. There were a few times where I thought to myself, how many times is this guy going to call me before he gets the hint that I am just not ready to hit the ground running just yet? We got to a point in our communication where it was mostly by email at my request. One day Kevin happened to call me & I just went with the flow because now, I had returned to my home state and felt like it was ok to have conversations about the next steps. I told Kevin what my end goal was and my timeline. That was enough for him to take my verbal cues and start sending me homes to choose from. It was a very calm vibe and cool vibe that I got from Kevin during our phone calls. Eventually Id felt comfortable enough to begin my physical search with my new realtor. Who knew that my realtor would truly understand my likes and dislikes and not waste my time? We had a good couple of months working together that Kevin was no longer just my realtor. Hed become an ally, a friend, and a person in whom we discovered had much in common. Kevin not only responded to EVERY text, EVERY email, almost immediately after receiving them. It made me feel important. It made me feel like I could actually trust him to do right by me. We spent a little of time checking in and making decisions together. Hed gotten to know me pretty well and automatically knew whether a property was with him forwarding it to me for my review or not. He paid attention to detail. I mean really minor details that someone who was interested in just making a sale for the money would not do. I was a complete emotional rollercoaster with Kevin. He never wavered. He never got frustrated or disappointed or irritated with me. If he did, he NEVER let it show. He never allowed it to dictate how he would interact with me. So many times I just wanted to give up and felt defeated. He never let me. I would send him my funds and tell him, make an arrangement to get a viewing and he would. Kevin was like having a butler on standby to deliver a home instead of a beverage or meal. He was absolutely amazing through to the ink on the dotted line. We made one visit to a location and a less than likely place to see a home because my focus and objective had changed with very good rationale and better financial sense. When I walked into the home that I just recently purchased for the first time, I immediately knew that it was THE ONE. He played it cool and we acted like we didnt know each other during the open house. We walked right passed each other without batting an eye. I left there and told him to put in an offer that day. He did. Now, you thought this was over huh? By no means. The buyer accepted my offer. We didnt know the merry-go-round wed be spinning on up until the day of closing. It was a period in which I was in highs and lows daily. I felt like that box of chocolates Forrest Gump talked about. Kevin would have no idea what he was gonna get day to day with me. LMAO! I know he probably started to think I was a character from the movie aEURoeOne flew over the cookoos nestaEUR?, with Jack Nickelson. I was batshut crazy some days and was so indecisive and happy then sad to angry then mad. I know I was making him scratch his head and rethinking to himself if he wanted to keep working with me or not! I'm so grateful he didnt give up on me and he wouldnt let me give up either. We had to deal with a crazy manager and all her shenanigans and I was fit to be tired of it all and I tell you the truth of the matter was that up until the very day of closing escrow, I was a chin hair away from pulling the plug and walking away and starting all over. I know he didnt want me to do that because then hed have to start going to AA meetings fooling around with my certified crazy behavior. He coached me to the finish line like the champ realtor he was. I now am in possession of the key to my sanity & peace of mind. My secure Zen DenaEUR|.my non-traditional home. He had help from Jason and Jason was a valuable instrument in the process too. Jason embodied my spirit in how he handled a few incidents later in the final process. I am grateful for Jason as well. Kevin and Jason give Batman and Robin a run for their money! Working with Kellie was a great experience from start to finish.
