Barb was awesome! We met with her and she came prepared with comps in our neighborhood, toured our home and we discussed/ decided on a list price. In about 6 weeks we had 2 offers and sold our home at list price, which is rare in the current market. If you want to sell in Deep Creek, Barb (and Nick) are the only realtors I would recommend. Thank you Barb!

Working With Barb Was good ,and informative, she explained everything and how my condo should be sold, if I want to leave before the summer of 2026aEUR|And not be liable for the high HOA that I am paying monthly and actually for myself getting nothing for it. I could not be happier with the whole house buying experience thanks to Nick! He took the time to learn exactly what I was looking for, and only showed me properties that fit my criteria. As we looked at houses, and I started to see things that I liked and did not like he was tweaking and fine honing the properties we looked at. Once we found the perfect house for me the process could not have gone better! Honestly, it went so good. It made me nervous because there were no hiccups! His communication skills with me and making sure I understood the whole process were perfect! I cannot recommend him enough!

I wish I could give a positive, glowing review; however, that cannot be done. We listed three properties with Barb & her son Nick @ the same time. From the start, there were flags & issues. First, Barbara tends to over speak, shut people down & not listen to the wants & needs of her customers (my husband & myself.) Major issues encountered - her son & my husband did not see eye to eye from the start. Nicks only way to handle this conflict resolution was to avoid my husband altogether & have his secretary act as the go-between. Very immature & unprofessional. His knowledge of the legal dynamics of the paperwork was lacking at best. There were several contract errors; he could not explain the forms or contracts & every time there was a question, it was how many circles can I talk around you, these errors and lack of negotiation skills cost us major money. Times when he was supposed to be at our house, he was out deep sea fishing. Several realtors had direct issues with him and misrepresentation of the facts, or outright cya scenarios to his benefit. We had an open house scheduled & we received a call 15 minutes prior saying that it was not going to take place & we chose to conduct the open house ourselves. Barb did arrive eventually, even though at that point I told her NOT to come & to stay away. Yet again she did not listen & over spoke when she did arrive. Due to misrepresentation & mismanagement of our contract, we overpaid dearly for these two & their inadequate handling of all houses and land for sale. What we encountered was so extreme that I had to contact the realtor board & their boss directly. In the end, the houses and land were sold - however, the painful interaction between the two of them was more than a seller should ever go through. Apologies are not enough when the amount of negligence is taken into consideration. The lack of accountability was mind-boggling. We had several realtors & 3 buyers come back & directly complain about them as well. We all have stories to tell but please due your due diligence if you feel as though you are being talked over from the sales pitch it only gets worse from there so if that issue does not sit well with you then move on & that goes for any realtor. Promises and magic are made for Fairy Tales & Walt Disney - NOT Realtors who claim that they are experts. I have several pages of issues, mostly direct in nature, at the end of the day the properties did sell, but that was due to my husband's interaction with the buyers and their realtors, not them. Be cautious with them, hopefully they can learn from the feedback & progress into excellence. As of now we are one set of sellers that got taken for a ride on the commission - when their secretary did all of their work & personally, she deserves all of the commission as they did nothing but cause us agony & grief at every turn due to trying to act like experts instead of being experts.

If your looking for a realtor that goes to heights to be sure you have the time to make an educated decision on which home your choosing, and making sure you get everything you need from Inspections to negotiations, Nick is your guy. He was able to save us $15,000 off the asking price of the home and went so far as to negotiate past our expectations. He was readily available each day and the whole process from start to finish was seamless. We are happy to say we found the exact home we were looking for and confident in our decision with Nicks professional help. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS REAL ESTATE AGENT!
