We lived in So. Carolina and planned on moving to Lynden, WA. We sent a request for help in finding a new home in Lynden and Jeff responded immediately. After telling him what we were looking for, he quickly came back to us with several options. After we relocated to Washington we contacted Jeff right away and began looking at the different possibilities. Jeff understood exactly what our preferences were and we wasted very little time looking at properties that we were not interested in. After looking at several good possibilities we found one that worked out great for us and after getting good advice from Jeff we made an offer, which was accepted immediately. The entire process of searching and buying the home we wanted took only a few days. Jeff made the process very easy and enjoyable for us. I cant speak highly enough of Laura and her team, Lilac Listings. Her professionalism, knowledge, honesty, integrity and hard work is what make her stand out from other relators.She helped us sell and then purchase our forever home in a market that is extremely competitive with bidding wars and not enough inventory. She was able to come in to our home and tell us exactly what we needed to do to make our home look more appealing for pictures and to potential buyers, which is exactly what we wanted in a realtor. We wanted someone that could come in, look around and take charge, but gave us the peace of mind knowing we could trust her with something that is so important to us. Regardless of having other clients and listings, she always made us feel like we were her only clients and we never felt like we didn't get the answer or information we needed. Laura was never pushy or tried to make us do anything we weren't comfortable with and always made us feel like she truly had our best interest at heart. If Laura had another showing and wasn't able to speak with us for some reason, someone from her team would immediately reach out to help until she was available. We never felt like we had to wait or missed an opportunity on a new listing, which I know is a big concern in the hot market these days. You have to be able to jump on something right away. We cant recommend Laura Rehberger highly enough as a stellar realtor. Where to start? My wife and I, having been around for a while, have bought and sold a fair number of properties over the last 30+ years, both as our primary residences and also as investments, and in the last decade, we have invested heavily in residential real estate. So we have considerable experience working with real estate and with realtors. And given that we do our homework and look for realtors with very strong recommendations, we have always been fortunate to work with excellent realtors. That said, Laura is truly among the best realtors that we have ever worked with. Laura asked great initial questions and tried hard to understand exactly what we were looking for and why. And she clearly listened because later on, as we were looking at properties, she had taken into account exactly what we had discussed. We were not from the area, so Laura gave us very clear and understandable background information on the local market, the neighborhoods, and what strategies might be best to achieve our goals. She was very available and generous with her time, and made time for us to look at a wide range of properties meeting our criteria. She knew her market well, both the different neighborhoods and the pros and cons of each, as well as the general regional market. We like to do a lot of research before making an offer, just to make sure that we are getting the best property for ourselves and at the best price. And Laura was super helpful in getting us the completed sales data and other information that we needed to do that research. When we found a property that we were interested in, Laura was willing to jump right on it and get our offer in the works. And when we did make an offer, Laura worked her magic to help our offer get accepted. Our offer was a fair bit under the asking price, but Laura did a great job of communicating with the Seller and their agent the rationale behind our offer and why we would make good and reliable buyers for the property. Once our offer was accepted, Laura worked to verify that everything about the property was as we hoped and expected, and also made herself available for inspections and other appointments to keep the process moving forward smoothly. And even after the sale was complete, when most other agents consider their work to be done, Laura continued to follow up to make sure that our next steps with the property went well. She has frequently offered advice and been helpful on many things, both before and after the sale. In addition to the outstanding representation that we received from Laura, she has an excellent team backing her up and they helped us with a wide variety of escrow tasks. Apologies that this review is starting to approach War and Peace lengthiness, but there is so much to say about how great Laura is as an agent. I really could go on. We recommend Laura very highly, and if you decide to work with Laura, you wont be disappointed.
